    IIIT Fee for 4 Year BTech Courses - India has a total of 25 IIITs functioning under the regulation of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Indian Institutes of Information Technology(IIITs) are a group of higher education institutes primarily focused on information technology. Out of these 26 institutions, five are established, funded, and managed by the MHRD and the rest 18 are set up on the public-private partnership (PPP) model. Below is the IIIT fee structure of five public and five public-private partnership institutions which fall under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The fee structure of IIITs is bound to change according to the institute, programme, and whether the institute is public or private.     Q: Between IIIT and NIT, which is better?
    A:

    It totally depends on which IIIT or NIT the student is applying for. If we talk about placements, faculties and the infrastructure, then some of the IIITs are better than NIT. It also depends on what a student wants from the course. IIITs are preferred over NIT by most of the students  who join IIITs have better rank, hence collectively they are better than those in NITs. However, like everything else there will be exceptions.  

    Q: Is there any fee concession in IIIT?
    A:

    In IIIT Hyderabad, for full time MS by Research and PhD students, there is practically no fee to be borne by the students. The fee is usually sponsored by the students’ advisor or a laboratory for research purposes. This research can be academic as well as industrial. In order to get a clearer picture, it is important for students to go through fee structures of IIITs in detail.

    Q: Is there any scholarship in IIIT?
    A:

    The scholarship is provided to deserving candidates based on their financial conditions and merit. It is only available for undergraduate students. It is important for students to go through and understand the complete eligibility criteria prescribed by the institute, before they apply for any scholarship scheme.
