Steps To Calculate KCET Rank With Board Marks 2026?

The KEA uses a simple formula to determine the KCET rank of the candidate. Students must know and keep their PCM marks of class 12th and marks for the KCET exam. Applicants should follow the below step-by-step instructions to calculate the rank.

Step 1: Start by knowing your physics, chemistry, and mathematics marks in the 12th board exam.

Step 2: Add marks for all the three subjects of PCM and divide by 300 and this is your board exam score.

Step 3: Divide the KCET PCM rank with the total score of 180 and you will get the KCET score to calculate.

Step 4: Now calculate the average score of the Board Score and the KCET score to get the KCET rank.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will use this final KCET rank to determine the cutoff.
