Majority of the question were concept based. General Aptitude And

Mathematics is Very Easy. Core Subject Questions were 50% easy, 30% medium and 20% tough.

 

Previous Year GATE Paper Analysis for IN by The Gate Academy

 

As per The GATE Academy, the questions asked in the Instrumentation Engineering paper last year were conceptual in nature. More weightage was given to topics like Networks, Measurement, Control systems, Transducers and Analog Circuits. Except for Analog Circuits which was perceived to be tougher than usual, all the other topics were relatively easy to medium. Based on this analysis, candidates can prepare for GATE 2018 for IN. GATE Cutoff for IN

 

IIT Guwahati will announce the GATE IN cutoff along with the result. The cutoff of GATE IN is the minimum marks a candidate need to get to qualify the entrance exam. The GATE cutoff 2018 will be different for the qualifying the entrance exam and to get admission into institutes. Not only this, institutes will be releasing their individual GATE 2018 cutoff. The cutoff of GATE IN will depend on various factors like availability of seats, number of applicants appeared for the entrance exam, difficulty level of the exam etc. Candidates can refer previous year GATE IN cutoff from the table given below:

GATE Answer Key - Various coaching institutes will publish the unofficial GATE 2018 answer key soon after the conclusion of entrance exam. However, the official GATE answer key 2018 will be published in the third week of February 2018. The answer key will consist of correct responses of the questions asked in the entrance exam. Candidates can use the answer key of GATE 2018 to crosscheck their responses.

 

GATE Result 2018- IIT Guwahati will announce the GATE 2018 result on March 17 in online mode. Candidates can check the result of GATE by log-in through GOAPS (GATE Online Application Process System). Candidates who will qualify the entrance exam will be able to download the GATE score card from March 20 to May 31, 2018.
