Hello
If you are aiming for JEE, both Presidency South and DPS South with Allen integration are solid.
Allen is strong for JEE prep, but the school environment and faculty make a big difference. Check past results and check for the best results among those campuses. Go where you can learn, grab opportunities, and make a competition because surviving is not enough; learning matters. Visit both campuses and then choose where to go.
Yes, JEE Main form asks for EWS certificate . It must be issued before form submission (before Jan 2026). Not after April 2026.

Hello aspirant,
Generally candidates opt for PCM with biology only if they have a strong grip over mathematics or they want to attempt the NEET exam as well as JEE exam. If you wish to do something in the medical field such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS or BHMS, you can give the NEET exam.
If you wish to do pursue something in the engineering field, you can attempt the JEE exam. However, if you are unsure about what course you would like to take up further in future, you can attempt both the exams and see for yourself what you wish to do in the future and where you have scored better marks. Though marks do not matter if really want to do something, they can act as an indicator sometimes as to where you can have a better scope of building a better future.
Hope it helps! All the best!
As of now, the official chapter-wise weightage for JEE Main 2026 has not been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, based on previous years' data, we can anticipate that the weightage distribution across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will remain relatively consistent. For instance, in JEE Main 2025, key topics such as Modern Physics, Thermodynamics, and Organic Chemistry held significant weightage. It's advisable to focus on these high-weightage chapters while also covering the entire syllabus to ensure comprehensive preparation. Once the official weightage for JEE Main 2026 is published, it will provide more precise guidance for targeted study.

If you could not appear for Class 12 in 2024 and plan to complete it in 2027 after restarting from Class 11, don’t worry. Gap years generally do not stop you from pursuing higher studies or appearing in competitive exams.
You can appear in Class 12 in 2027 without any problem.
The education board does not restrict students because of gap years, as long as you meet age and eligibility rules.
Most colleges accept students with gap years.
You may need to explain the reason for the gap during admission (financial, family issues).
Some colleges may ask for a gap certificate from a notary or school authority.
JEE allows candidates to appear in the year of passing 12th and the next two years . Example: If you pass in 2027, you can appear in JEE 2027, 2028, and 2029.
NEET has no restriction on the number of attempts , only the age limit (17–25 years for General category).
CUET and other exams accept candidates as long as they passed Class 12, regardless of gap years.
Focus on completing 11th and 12th with good marks.
Collect a gap certificate if required during admission.
Plan early for the entrance exam you want to target after Class 12.
Conclusion: Gap years due to financial or family issues will not restrict you . Once you pass Class 12, you can appear for competitive exams and apply to colleges normally.
