Last-Minute Revision Tips for the TS POLYCET Exam

If your exam is in the next day or two, here is what you should focus on:

    • Do not start new topics now. Whatever you have not studied until today, leave it. Picking up a new chapter at this stage will only create confusion and take away time from what you already know.
    • Revise your formula sheets. Write down all key Mathematics formulas, Physics equations and important Chemistry reactions on one or two pages. Go through them in the evening and once again in the morning before the exam.
    • Keep your hall ticket and ID ready. Do not leave it for the last minute. Keep everything you need to carry to the exam centre in one place before you sleep.
    • Get a good night's sleep. This matters more than most students realise. A rested mind reads questions clearly and avoids silly mistakes that a tired mind makes.
    • On exam day, read every question fully. Do not assume a question is the same as one you have practised before. One small change in the numbers or conditions can completely change the answer.
    • Start with your strongest subject. If Chemistry feels easy to you, begin there. It builds confidence and ensures you pick up easy marks early.
    • Do not spend too much time on one question. You have 150 minutes for 120 questions, roughly one minute each. If something is taking longer than that, move on and come back to it later.
    • Attempt all questions. There is no negative marking in TS POLYCET, so leave no question blank. Even if you are unsure, make a guess; you have nothing to lose.
