    TS Polytechnic Pass Marks Category Wise 2026 – General, OBC, SC, ST

    TS Polytechnic Pass Marks Category Wise: SBTET, Telangana has declared the passing marks for the TS Polycet 2026 exam. To pass the entrance exam, candidates will have to secure at least 30 marks out of 120, which is 25% of the total percentile. However, there are no minimum Polytechnic pass marks for the SC/ST category. The marks obtained in the TS Polytech 2026 will be considered for the purpose of assigning rank. And based on the TS Polytechnic ranks, selection will be made for admission into the Diploma courses at the TS Polytechnic accepting colleges.     TS Polytechnic Pass Marks Category Wise For OBC

    The TS Polytechnic passing marks for students belonging to the OBC category is 30% of the overall mark. Candidates must secure 30 out of 120 to pass the exam. The passing mark is similar to that of a General category. However, candidates must aim to secure more than the passing marks to be eligible for the top TS Polytechnic colleges.

    Polytechnic Pass Marks BC Category

    Candidates belonging to the BS category will have to secure 30% in the TS Polycet exam to pass the exam. The passing marks are the same as those of the other non SC/ST categories.

    Polytechnic Pass Marks SC/ST Category

    Unlike the General, OBC, and BC categories, there are no minimum TS Polycet passing marks for the SC and ST categories. This indicates that SC/ST students will be eligible for the counselling process even if they secure less than 30%. However, the final seat allotment depends on rank, reservation rules, and availability of seats. In practice, scoring higher still helps because better marks usually improve your rank and your chances of getting a preferred branch or college.

    TS POLYCET Rank Cutoffs 2026

    Passing only the TS Polycet exam is not enough to secure a seat in colleges. Candidates will have to participate in the TS Polycet counselling process and secure a valid rank for admission into a good Polytechnic college. The TS Polycet rank cutoffs will be prepared based on the number of applicants, exam difficulty, seat availability, category/reservation rules, and the highest scores/ranks.

    TS POLYCET 2026 Marks: Tie-Breaking

    In many cases, two or more students secure the same marks in the TS POLYCET exam. To ensure a fair ranking, the conducting body employs specific tie-breaking criteria to calculate the TS POLYCET 2026 marks vs rank. Here is an outline of the tie-breaking process:
