    NITs Cutoff for B.Tech Chemical Engineering – The JoSAA Round 1 cutoff 2026 for BTech Chemical Engineering at NITs has been released in the form of opening and closing ranks. Among the Open category candidates, NIT Tiruchirappalli witnessed the toughest competition, closing admissions at rank 15,322, followed by NIT Karnataka Surathkal at 16,042 and MNNIT Allahabad at 21,924. In contrast, seats remained available up to rank 257,425 at NIT Agartala, indicating a broader admission range for aspirants. Candidates can use the Round 1 cutoff data to evaluate their admission prospects for upcoming counselling rounds. Admission to NIT Chemical Engineering programmes is based on JEE Main ranks and participation in the JoSAA counselling process.
