Overall Difficulty Level: Moderate
In the NATA 2024 exam phase 1 that was held on April 6 and 7, the overall difficulty level was considered moderate by candidates.
Since the authorities are still conducting the NATA 2023 exam, students can check the previous year’s analysis for reference purposes.

Mathematics - Maths was easy. Questions asked form Surface area and volume, Trignometry, Geometry, about the difficulty level in the Mathematics section, there were no questions that could be regarded as totally unexpected. As there is no negative marking, attempting the section was not that troubling.
General Aptitude - In this section, the questions asked from counting and figures, orthographic projections, time and work, speed and distance, ratio and proportions, Clock and more. were some confusing statements that twisted around which made it difficult to get the essence. Those with remarkable analytical skills found the section tricky yet interesting.
Drawing - The paper was based on previous year pattern. The question asked form elements/principles of design.

As per students who appeared in the NATA exam, the question paper was of moderate difficulty level.
Section 1 was dominated by general knowledge questions.
The first section had 115 questions and the second section had 10 questions each of 3 marks.
All these 10 questions in section 2 were completely image-based and were shown for just 30 seconds. We had to memorize it within that time to answer these questions.
Section 1 was a bit difficult and section 2 was moderate in difficulty level.
Section A had questions on aptitude, general knowledge, decision making, etc. Students found Section A as easy to moderate in difficulty level. The section had questions like which is the highest waterfall, what is the percentage of a waterfall in the southwest region of India, the mirror length required by a man to see his full image, etc. In the section, in the questions asked on images, students had to tell the texture of the image, its contrast, etc. This section has 115 questions.
Section B had all questions on images and figures. Students found this section difficult as it had a timer of 30 seconds for each question. In this section, in each question, an image was given; candidates had to memorize the image in 30 seconds and then answer questions based on the image. Students said that it was difficult to memorize everything in 30 secs. This section had 10 questions.
The NATA question paper had two parts wherein 45 questions were in the first part while 10 questions were in the second part.
Mathematics - Talking about the difficulty level in the Mathematics section, there were no questions that could be regarded as totally unexpected. As there is no negative marking, attempting the section was not that troubling.
General Aptitude - In this section, there were some confusing statements that twisted around which made it difficult to get the essence. Those with remarkable analytical skills found the section tricky yet interesting.
Drawing - Part 2 totally consisted of drawing questions with somewhat confusing figures which many found to be difficult.
The NATA 2019 paper was lengthy.
GA was very easy, while the drawing section was of moderate difficulty level.
Math was difficult as compared to other subjects.

Hello,
No, you cannot directly do M.Arch after B.Tech in Computer Engineering. M.Arch (Master of Architecture) requires a B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) degree as a basic qualification.
NATA is for admission to B.Arch, not M.Arch. So, after B.Tech, you cannot use NATA to enter M.Arch.
If you want to do M.Arch, you must first complete B.Arch.

Here's the information about Architecture course:
- Eligibility criteria: Qualification completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks. Age limit is minimum 17 and upper age limit is generally not fixed, that varies by college.
- Entrance Exam: NATA & JEE Mains are both main national level entrance exam that are expected by most of colleges for admission. There are some State exam like MHT-CET, UPSEE and many more that are also accepted by colleges.
- Fee Structure: for government colleges its between 1,00,000 to 2,50,000 per year & for private colleges it's between 3,00,000 to 10,00,000. Fees can also vary based on college, state, facilities, and even quota
For architecture courses, you generally need to complete 10+2 with Maths as a compulsory subject. The main entrance exams are JEE Main Paper 2 and NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), and you need to clear either of these for admission. Some private colleges also have their own entrance exams. The total fees usually range between 5 to 15 lakhs for the full 5-year course, depending on the college. The Council of Architecture (CoA) needs a 10+2 and a diploma with mathematics subject being compulsory along with at least 45% overall aggregate marks. If you fulfil these conditions, then you are surely eligible for NATA entrance exam.

NATA 2025 counselling in Andhra Pradesh is conducted through AP B.Arch admissions under APSCHE, not by NATA directly. Students with NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 scores can apply. The process generally begins in August 2025 with online registration, fee payment, and document verification, followed by choice filling and seat allotment.
