The Eligibility Criteria for the MP BE Admission 2017 details the conditions which the candidates are required to fulfill to avail admission to various engineering programmes in different engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh. One of the important conditions, which the candidates are required to meet under the Eligibility Criteria of MP BE 2017, is that it is mandatory for them to clear the JEE Main 2017 exam, which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Those candidates who are aiming to be part of MP BE Admission 2017 are required to have passed their 10+2 examination with certain mandatory subjects, while others have to be optional. The aggregate marks which the candidates are required to score in 10+2 is different for general candidates and those belonging to schedule castes and schedule tribes and other backward class need to score 45 % and 40 % marks respectively. The application forms for the MP BE Admission 2017 is available from June 15, 2017. Academic requirements under MP BE Eligibility Criteria 2017
Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Candidates who wish to study engineering in different colleges and institutions in Madhya Pradesh are required to mandatorily have Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.
They must have passed their 10+2 from Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board or any other recognized state or national board and need to pass in one of the below given subjects in addition to Physics and Maths:
The aggregate marks which the candidates need to score in these subjects are 45 %.
Candidates who are domicile of Madhya Pradesh and are either SC, ST, OBC (not creamy layer) need to score at least 40 % marks.
Seats reserved for candidates whose parents are in various government jobs
Certain candidates whose parents are in government jobs, which include either central or state can be eligible for MP BE Admission 2017. They can apply under the various criteria that are given below in the table:

Five per cent of the seats will be reserved for candidates who are Non -resident Indians. In case these seats are not filled by NRIs, then they will be allotted to those candidates who are domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
At the time of counselling, candidates are required to furnish all the necessary documents related to the category under MP BE Admission 2017.
MP BE Admission Counselling 2017 will be based on the ranks secured by candidates in JEE Main 2017 and there will be counselling also based on the qualifying exams as well as on choice filling of programmes and institutes by candidates.
