JoSAA Participating Institutes 2025 - JoSAA will upload the names of institutes participating in the BTech counselling process along with the information brochure. Aspirants will be able to check the list of JoSAA participating colleges 2025 from the link at josaa.nic.in. Based on the previous year's notification, 121 colleges took part in the JoSAA counselling. Of these, 23 are IITs, 32 are NITs, GFTIs are 40 in number and 26 are IIITs. JoSAA 2025 is expected to be held in June. The authority allots seats based on the merit of the candidate in JEE Main, JEE Advanced and the choices filled. Candidates are advised to go through the article before registering for JoSAA.

1. How many institutes participate in JoSAA?

Based on the previous year's data, through the JoSAA counselling and seat allocation process 2025, candidates will be able to get admission into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 40 GFTIs.

2. Can I get private college through JoSAA Counselling?

With JoSAA counselling, one can only get a seat in government colleges such as IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

3. Who can participate in JoSAA Counselling?

Candidates who qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced can participate in the JoSAA counselling 2025. Such candidates must register and fill in their choices before the last date of JoSAA counselling 2025.

4. What if i do not get a seat in the round 1 of JoSAA counselling?

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will conduct several rounds of counselling to offer admission into various government institutes. It will also hold a special round of counselling. In case a candidate is unable to secure admission into an institute of their choice initially, they can participate in the subsequent rounds.
