Hello Koushik

You can find JEE Mains 2025 question papers on the Careers360 website. You can get even the papers of previous years and can get it in many languages including English and Hindi.

Here's the link for accessing the papers: JEE Mains Question Paper by CAREERS360

Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!

With a 72.6 percentile in JEE Mains, CRL rank of 410886, and SC category rank of 27340, your daughter might not be able to get CSE, CSE (AI & ML), or CSE (Data Science) in top NITs/IIITs through JoSAA, as these branches usually close at a much lower rank. However, she may have chances in:

Some newer NITs in less popular branches, but CSE-related branches will still be tough.

State-level engineering colleges in Telangana through TS EAMCET counselling (better chances here, especially in SC category).

Private universities like SRM, VIT, KL University, and GITAM where admission is through their own entrance exams or JEE score.

Deemed universities and good private colleges under management quota if budget allows.

Hello,

Based on previous year cut-offs, for General category you should aim for around 105–115 marks in JEE Main to get a seat in any NIT in any branch.
For top branches like CSE or ECE, try to score 115 marks or more for better chances.

Hope it helps !

In JEE Main exam pattern , each correct answer in Paper 1 (B.Tech) is awarded 4 marks, and each incorrect answer results in a deduction of 1 mark. Unanswered questions do not incur any negative marking. Paper 1 includes 90 questions, 75 of which are to be attempted.

These questions are divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with 25 questions each (20 MCQs and 5 numerical value questions). The total marks for Paper 1 are 300.

Hope it helps...

Hello Ashutosh,

If you have completed your UPTAC counselling verification with the correct Class 12 board, school name, and original marksheet - and the statuses were "passed" or you verified as a "pass" when the online document verification showed "passed" - the incorrect information in the JEE application (whether the board name, school or school type) should not lead to cancellation at physical reporting.

During physical reporting, the institutes are primarily checking that the original documents correspond to the verified documents in the counselling. Since you would have included the information to provide in the UPTAC verification, and it was accepted, you should be okay. Just ensure to carry along the originals and the UPTAC verification slip so that you can without hassles.

Hi,

JEE Mains previous year question papers and answer keys are available on the official NTA JEE website for the past several years. For older papers (more than 4–5 years back), you can find them in JEE preparation books by publishers like Arihant, MTG, or Disha, which compile the last 10 years’ papers with solutions or you can find in trusted educational websites also . Solving past 10 years’ papers is an excellent way to understand exam patterns, frequently asked concepts, and improve time management. I recommend downloading both shift 1 and shift 2 papers for each year, as the JEE Mains now conducts multiple sessions.

You can check this link below : https://engineering.careers360.com/download/ebooks/jee-main-previous-10-year-questions-detailed-solutions

Good luck with your preparation.

Thank you.

JEE Mains syllabus is not yet released officially by National testing agency (NTA).

Hello Alka

For JEE Advance, the best 5 subjects through which you need to calculate your percentage is:

1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics
4. One language (which is English)
5. One other subject of your choice

So you will need to choose PCM + English + a 5th subject to calculate your percentage.

Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!

Hello!

Ideally, GPAT preparation should start around 8–10 months before the exam to give yourself enough time to cover the syllabus and revise properly. Since GPAT is a competitive exam, consistency is the key. You can start with 2–3 hours of study daily in the initial months and then increase it to 6–8 hours as the exam approaches. Break your schedule into three phases: Phase 1 (first 4 months) – cover the entire syllabus subject by subject, focusing on concepts and notes; Phase 2 (next 3 months) – revise topics and start solving previous year papers; Phase 3 (final 2 months) – focus on mock tests, time management, and weaker areas. Always reserve the last few weeks for pure revision and formula memorization. Remember, regular revision and practice are more important than long study hours without focus.

Wishing you all the best for your GPAT journey. Thank you!
