VITEEE Previous Year Analysis

Here we have added the VITEEE analysis of previous year. As we do not have VITEEE 2025 paper analysis as of now because the exam is yet to happen, you can go through previous year analysis just to understand the pattern, trends and more. Here you can check it:

VITEEE Physics Paper Analysis

In earlier editions of VITEEE, the Physics part was usually rated as easy to moderate. The questions were largely formula-based and were moreconcept-dependent and lesscalculation-intensive. Concepts like Current Electricity Electrostatics, Optics, and Modern Physics were common. Students with a clear idea of basic concepts found this part relatively easy.

VITEEE Chemistry Paper Analysis

The Chemistry portion was usually seen as the most uncomplicated of all. Most questions were NCERT-based with an emphasis on fact recall and basic concepts. Organic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds, and p-Block elements were usually discussed. Well-prepared students from NCERT textbooks generally scored high in this portion with little effort.

VITEEE Mathematics Paper Analysis

Mathematics used to be the most time-consuming and toughest section in previous years. Questions were mostly taken from common syllabus subjects, with emphasis on Calculus, Algebra, Probability, and Vectors & 3D Geometry. The difficulty level was moderate to high, needing speed and accuracy. Students practicing regularly were well prepared to deal with this section.

VITEEE English & Aptitude Paper Analysis

The English and Aptitude sections were typically found to be straightforward and scoring. English questions tested grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension, while Aptitude questions included basic logical reasoning, data interpretation, and pattern recognition. Don’t neglect these two sections, make sure to complete revising them before the exam.

Last Day Preparation Tips for VITEEE 2025

1. Give time to Key Formulas - Fastly revise key formulas, definitions, and short tricks, make sure to do it in Mathematics and Physics. Don't try to learn anything new at this point to make strong what you already know.

2. Keep Short Notes and Mind Maps Ready - Work on your notes, flashcards, or mind maps. They are beneficial at the last moment and assist in recalling things faster under exam pressure.

3. Get Good Amount of Sleep and Rest - A peaceful mind will work better than a fatigued one. Sleep for at least 7-8 hours prior to the day of the exam. Do not stay awake for a long time the night before the exam.

Questions related to VITEEE

Have a question related to VITEEE ?

Having a VITEEE 2025 rank of 3026 means that you have a very high chance of acquiring top branches in the Vellore campus in Category 1 or 2.

Most likely branches in Category 1:

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
• CSE with Specializations (AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, etc.)
• Information Technology (IT)
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

In Category 2, you can also expect:

• CSE with Business Systems
• Computer Engineering
• Other specializations in CSE with high demand

You will have to enroll early counselling in order to benefit from the best options in Category 1.
VITEE Rank vs Branch

VIT Bhopal – CSE (Cat 1): Lower fees, good for programming, but newer campus and fewer top-tier companies.

VIT Chennai – ECE (Cat 2): Better campus, more industry exposure, but higher fees and slightly lower average packages for ECE.

Verdict: If you prefer CSE and lower fees, go for VIT Bhopal. If you value campus reputation and industry exposure, choose VIT Chennai ECE.

With a VITEEE rank of 199,320 , admission into the top core branches (like CSE, ECE, etc.) at VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai is unfortunately very unlikely , as those seats typically close within the top 30,000–50,000 ranks , depending on the year and demand.

However, here’s what you might still have a chance at:

Possible Options:

  1. VIT Bhopal or VIT-AP (Amaravati Campus):

    • These newer campuses have lower closing ranks and often accept students with ranks beyond 100,000+ .

    • You may get branches like:

      • Mechanical Engineering (ME)

      • Civil Engineering

      • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

      • Some interdisciplinary programs or specialized branches .

  2. Management Quota:

    • If you’re very keen on VIT Vellore or Chennai and are open to paying higher tuition fees , you can consider the Category 3/4 seats , which allow admission at much lower ranks but with a significant fee hike.

  3. Other Alternatives:

    • Consider writing other entrance exams (like COMEDK, SRMJEEE, or state-level exams) where you may have better chances of securing a good branch in a reputed institute.

Hello,

with a VITEEE 202 rank of 2015, securing Bioinformatics under category 1 at VIT Vellore is unlikely, as the expected cutoff for category 1 is between ranks 650 to 700. however, you have a strong chance of admission under category 2, which typically includes ranks up to 3000. while category 2 entails higher tuition fees than category 1, it still offers a good opportunity to pursue bioinformatics at VIT Vellore.

With a VITEEE 2025 rank of 2015 , you are in an excellent position — that's a top rank .

For Bioinformatics at VIT Vellore (Category 1) :

Yes, you will very likely get Bioinformatics under Category 1 at VIT Vellore .

Here's why:

  • Bioinformatics is a less competitive branch compared to core ones like CSE, CSE with AI/ML, or ECE .

  • In previous years, Category 1 cutoff ranks for Bioinformatics at Vellore were generally well beyond 10,000–15,000 .

  • With your 2015 rank , you’ll be eligible not just for Bioinformatics , but also for many better-ranked branches under Category 1 , depending on availability.

You may also consider:

  • Biotechnology

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Electronics and Instrumentation

  • Even core branches like Mechanical or EEE under Category 1 or 2.
