The NATA question paper does not focus on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Rather, Aptitude is the key from which questions will be framed. However, various other topics have been mentioned which may be asked to test the candidate's understanding of basic concepts. 3-dimensional coordinate geometry

Direction cosines and direction ratios, distance between two points and section formula, equation of a straight line, equation of a plane, distance of a point from a plane.

Theory of calculus

Functions, composition of two functions and inverse of a function, limit, continuity, derivative, chain rule, derivatives of implicit functions and functions defined parametrically. Integration as a reverse process of differentiation, indefinite integral of standard functions. Integration by parts. Integration by substitution and partial fraction. Definite integral as a limit of a sum with equal subdivisions. Fundamental theorem of integral calculus and its applications. Properties of definite integrals. Formation of ordinary differential equations, solution of homogeneous differential equations, separation of variables method, linear first-order differential equations

Application of calculus

Tangents and normals, conditions of tangency. Determination of monotonicity, maxima and minima. Differential coefficient as a measure of rate. Motion in a straight line with constant acceleration. Geometric interpretation of definite integral as area, calculation of area bounded by elementary curves and Straight lines. Area of the region included between two elementary curves.

The NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is an entrance exam conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) in India.

It assesses candidates' aptitude for a five-year B.Arch degree course. The test evaluates drawing skills, observation, critical thinking, and architectural awareness. It is typically held multiple times a year.

The exam is conducted in online mode with some questions testing drawing via interactive platforms. The paper includes MCQs, MSQs, and PTQs.

There is no negative marking, and the maximum score is 200. Eligibility requires 10+2 with Mathematics or 10+3 Diploma with Maths

  • If you appeared for the first attempt of the NATA exam on May 31st, your scorecard is expected to be released within approximately seven days—so, by around June 7, 2025.
  • You can access and download your scorecard from the official website (nata.in) using your application number and password.

Yes, you can register separately for each attempt of NATA 2025. Registration for each test is independent, allowing you to choose to apply for one, two, or all three attempts throughout the academic year. The best score from your attempts will be considered for admission purposes.

If you choose to apply for only one attempt initially, you can register for the remaining attempts later by visiting the official NATA portal and completing the application process for each subsequent test.
