UPSEE Counselling 2018 – Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has started the registration and choice filling process of UPSEE 2018 counselling. Candidates can now register and fill their preferred choices of colleges and courses till June 29, 2018. UPSEE counselling 2018 is being conducted in three rounds in online mode for candidates who qualify in the entrance exam. Candidates will be considered for admissions on the basis of UPSEE scores and selected preferences. Candidates have to register for UPSEE counselling 2018, upload requisite documents, pay the fee and get their documents verified at the time of counselling. Following this, the candidates have to choose their colleges and courses in the order of priority and lock their choices. After each round, the seat allotment result of UPSEE 2018 will be announced. UPSEE Counselling Procedure 2018
The counselling of UPSEE 2018 has the following steps. Candidates need to follow each of the steps in their respective order to successfully complete the procedure.
Step 1 – Registration, Document uploading & Payment of counselling fee
Step 2 – Document verification
Step 3 – Filling of choices
Step 4 – Seat allotment result
Step 5 – SEat Confirmation or Online willingness by the candidates
Step 6 - Physical Reporting at the college (at the end of the third round by all candidates allotted seats)

Step 1 – Registration, document uploading & Payment of counselling fee: Candidates will have to register by using their UPSEE 2018 roll number, application number, name, father's name and date of birth. Once registered, candidates will be required to fill the needed information and pay the specified counselling fee in online mode via debit card/ credit card or net banking. They are also required to upload the requisite documents as specified.

Step 2 – Document verification: Candidates will have to upload the necessary documents and get them verified. The file size must be 200 KB while uploading. The list of documents is given below.

Domicile certificate of his/ her parents (Father OR Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P

Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/ Physically handicapped as applicable

After document verification, candidates will be given a One-time-password (OTP) to log in for choice filling
Step 3 - Filling of choices: Candidates will have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their priority during choice filling. Candidates must fill as many choices as possible.
Step 4 – Seat allotment result: On the basis of choice filling, merit list and availability of seats, candidates will be awarded seat in the B.Tech programme.
Step 5 – Seat Confirmation or Online willingness by the candidates: In this step, candidates will have to select three options to confirm seat allotment - Freeze, Float and Withdrawal.
Freeze – Candidates can choose to freeze their seat allotted if they are satisfied.
Float – Candidates can hold on to the seat allotted and ask for upgradation in this case.
Withdrawal – Candidates can leave the seat allotted and can choose to not participate in the further admission procedure.
Step 6 - Physical Reporting at the college: After all the three rounds are completed, all candidates who have been allotted seats, upgraded or otherwise must report to the allotted college with their documents to complete their admission formalities.
