UPSEE CounsellingUPSEE Counselling 2017 - The online registration and choice filling for round 4 of UPSEE 2017 seat allotment has commenced from July 19, 2017 by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University (AKTU), Lucknow. Candidates can register and fill their choices for UPSEE 2017 seat allotment. The result for round 4 of seat allotment will be announced on July 24, 2017. The result for third round of seat allotment was announced on July 16, 2017 for which candidates could check by entering their application number, password that was created at the time of submission of the UPSEE 2017 application form and the security pin. The result for first and second round of allotment has already been declared. The process of choice filling had started for all candidates who had registered themselves for the counselling session. The counselling of UPSEE 2017 commenced from June 19, for admissions to the undergraduate courses in B.Tech/B.E. programmes across the state. Registrations are open for all candidates who wish to participate in the counselling session. For the admission year 2017-18, AKTU has decided to conduct the document verification in online mode. During the registration, the candidates must upload all the required documents in 200 KB size each. All OBC candidates must also get their caste certificates made after April 1, 2017. Check the list of all the documents for verification on this page below. Candidates who have qualified in UPSEE 2017 will be eligible to apply and appear for the counselling of UPSEE 2017. Applicants will have to register and get the scanned copies of all the documents uploaded online. After seat allotment, candidates have to confirm their seats. The UPSEE Counselling is held in five phases. There will be spot counselling only for government colleges. Candidates who are non-UP candidates and have passed the qualifying exam from outside UP on the basis of their UPSEE 2017 merit can apply for 10% of the seats in private institutions affiliated to AKTU subject to fulfilling the given eligibility conditions. Any vacant seats after counselling of UPSEE 2017 concludes, may be open to candidates on the basis of their JEE Main 2017 scores or their class XII performance. An important point to note is that 10% of the total sanctioned seats available in Technology / Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU to be filled through merit of Non-U.P. Domicile candidates without reservation subject to specific eligibility conditions. Candidates whose parent belongs to any State other than Uttar Pradesh and has passed qualifying examination from an Institution located outside U.P. Such candidates must have appeared for UPSEE 2017 and will be given admissions on the basis of their UPSEE2017 Merit.

 

All seats in Government/ Government Aided/ Govt. Self-Financed Institutes will be filled by UPSEE 2017 qualified candidates. However, for private colleges 85% seats in all the courses will be filled by UPSEE 2017 qualified candidates.

The vacant seats in NRI/Management quota or vacant seats after UPSEE 2017 counselling shall be filled strictly in the following preference order, within 15 days of the last date of the counselling:

  • JEE Main 2017 qualified candidates fulfilling the eligibility as specified on the basis of their JEE Main ranks

  • Candidates who have qualified in UPSEE-2017, who fulfil the given eligibility on the basis of their UPSEE rank.

  • Candidates who have passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University. They must have secured minimum marks of 50% (45% for SC/ST) taken together. Candidates must have passed without any grace marks. Admissions to these candidates will be on the basis of their merit in their Class XII.

Procedure for UPSEE Counselling 2017

 

Registration:  The candidates will have to register themselves first. The following information has to be submitted for registration:

  • UPSEE 2017 Application Number

  • Password

Counselling fee payment: Candidates will have to pay counselling fee while registering. The counselling fee is Rs. 20,000 for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 12,000 for SCT/ST candidates. Payment of fees has to be done in online mode i.e., Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.  

 

Candidates must get the scanned copies of the following documents uploaded online during registration for counselling. Each document should be in 200 KB size only. OBC candidates must get their caste certificates made after April 1, 2017:

  • UPSEE Admit Card 2017

  • UPSEE Rank Card 2017

  • Class XII Certificate & marks sheet

  • Rural weightage certificate if applicable

  • Domicile certificate

  • Domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P

  • Character certificate

  • Certificate of Medical Fitness/Undertaking of Medical Fitness

  • Domicile certificate, if applicable.

  • Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST, if applicable

  • Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/Physically handicapped as  applicable

  • Income certificate for economically weak candidates

  • GDDA category certificate, if applicable

  • Other Documents required (only if applicable)

  • After document verification, candidates will be given a One-time-password (OTP) to login for choice filling

UPSEE 2017 Choice filling process: Candidates must login to their registered account and fill any number of choices of courses and colleges in the order of their preference. It is advisable to fill as many choices as they can to avoid missing a seat. The choices must be saved before logging out. Candidates will also be allowed to edit their choices (add, modify or delete) before locking them. Candidates should contact officials in verification centre, in case of lack of understanding about the choice filling procedure.

 

 

UPSEE Seat Allotment 2017

 

The registration and choice filling for round 4 of UPSEE Seat Allotment has commenced. Candidates register and fill their choices. The result for round 4 of seat allotment will be announced in online mode on July 24, 2017. Candidates can check the result by entering the application number, the password created at the time of the submission of the application form and the security pin which will be shown on the screen. After that, they need to sign in. Seat allotment will be online and will be based on the UPSEE 2017 merit rank of the candidates, the choices they have filled in and availability of seats. Candidates with higher merit ranks will be given preference. Candidates must log in and download their provisional allotment letter of UPSEE 2017 and pay the admission fee.

 

Confirmation of seats:

  • After being successfully allotted seats, the candidates will have to select their option regarding admission in online mode.

  • Three options will be provided to the candidates - Freeze, Float and Withdrawal. 

  • Freeze is selected when the candidate does not want upgradation and is happy with his/her allotted seat. Float is when the candidate wants to confirm his/her allotted seat but wants to be considered for upgradation too. If the candidate does not want to take admission in the allotted seat and does not want to participate in further allotment rounds, then he/she can select the withdrawal option.

  • It is to be noted that the counselling fee will be adjusted against the total fee that is payable to the college or institution.

The UPSEE Counselling is held in five rounds. There will be spot counselling only for government colleges.
