TNEA 2026 Seat Allotment Link - The DoTE Tamil Nadu has published the TNEA 2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment result , on August 9, 2026, on the official website, tneaonline.org. Applicants can check the provisional allotment using their registered email ID and password. The allotment will be based on candidates' rank, category, and choices filled during TNEA 2026 counselling. Earlier, the authority uploaded the tentative TNEA seat allotment for Round 2 on August 7, 2026. After the provisional allotment is released, candidates must confirm their willingness to accept the allotted seat to confirm their admission.

Multiple options will be available against the seat; choose one of them.
If the allotted seat is as per the expectation, accept the seat and download the allotment letter
Proceed further with fee payment.

After the release of TNEA seat allotment, candidates have multiple options; either they can accept and join or decline and upward. Below we have mentioned al the available options so that candidates can make an informed decision.
Accept and Join- If candidates are happy with the allotted college, download the allotment letter and pay the admission fee before the deadline. The authority will cancel the seat if this is not done.
Accept and Upward: If a candidate is fine with the allotment but would like a chance at a better one in later rounds. Then select this option.
Decline and Upward
If candidates don't want the current seat and instead of giving up, they want to wait for a better option in the next counselling round.
Decline and Move to Next Round: Selecting this option will cancel the allotted seat, and candidates will be moved to the next TNEA counselling round.
Decline and Quit: Candidates can cancel the allotted seat and exit the entire counselling process with this option. After choosing this option, candidates won't be able to take part in counselling.
Upward or Move to Next Round: If no seat is allotted to the candidates, then they can select this option with the hope of getting a seat in the next round.
