Finally, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 1700 by issuing a demand draft of the same amount to the "Directorate of Technical Education" account with client code 'DIRECTOR EDU' at any HDFC Bank branch in Goa or through any other approved mode of payment. The authority will soon release the Goa Diploma 2026 provisional merit list online. The merit list will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. The Goa Diploma merit list 2026 comprises the names of candidates in the merit order. Moreover, if two or more candidates score the same marks, the authorities determine the ranks based on a specific procedure.
When evaluating applicants, those with better scores in Mathematics will be given higher priority.
If two or more applicants have the same Mathematics scores, the one with higher aggregate marks in Science will be placed higher.

DTE conducts the Goa Diploma counselling offline. The authority will conduct three rounds of Goa Diploma counselling. The eligible candidates have to be present in person at the admission centre as per the schedule mentioned.
