GATE Application Form Correction 2025 - IIT Roorkee has concluded the GATE 2025 defect rectification for provisional/marked as defects candidates. Candidates had to rectify their GATE application form in case of errors to avoid results being withheld by logging into the GOAPS portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE form correction portal for defect rectification was available from March 8 to 15, 2025. The authority will release the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. Earlier, the authorities concluded the GATE application form correction process soon after the GATE registration. The GATE 2025 application form correction window for PWD closed on November 22, 2024, and for all other candidates on November 20, 2024. Candidates were able to make changes to the details mentioned in the application form. Applicants must pay the GATE form correction fees to update any changes.
The authority concluded the GATE 2025 registration with a late fee on October 11, 2024. The GATE exam was conducted for 30 papers online. IIT Roorkee held the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025. Read the article to know more about GATE 2025 application form correction.

Candidates can access the GATE 2025 application form correction facility online. The GATE application form correction link 2025 is active on the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. All necessary corrections in the GATE 2025 application must be completed by candidates before the final date. It's important to note that no changes will be accepted after the final date.

After the GATE 2025 application form is submitted, the authorities examine the same to verify the authenticity of the given details. In case of any mistakes or discrepancies, the candidates are contacted by the zonal authorities through their registered contact details i.e., email address or mobile number. The status of the GATE application form can also be checked by logging into the GOAPS website. Rectification of the details was done by the candidates before the final date.

In case the password is forgotten, the candidates can use their enrollment number and email address to receive the password.
Click the ‘request OTP’ option to get the OTP via SMS or Email. Now they can reset their password by using the OTP.

While making changes to the GATE application form, candidates were allowed to change the chosen exam centres. Candidates could make their preference of any three GATE exam centres. However, the preference of the exam centre for GATE 2025 should be from the same zone. Candidates can refer to the GATE 2025 exam centre list to know the centre's name zone-wise.
