PGDIIT is a one-year postgraduate diploma in Engineering offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. This programme has been designed to be an intensive course work based which is the same as for the MTech programme. Currently, IIT Gandhinagar offers PGDIIT courses in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Earth System Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering.
