With a rank of 20,000 in AP EAMCET, it is very unlikely to get a free seat in a government medical college. Fee reimbursement schemes typically apply to ranks below 10,000, so you may have to consider private colleges or other options.
With 82% in MHT-CET and belonging to the Scheduled Caste category, you have good chances to get admission in government engineering colleges in Pune with low tuition fees. The College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is the most prestigious option, but its cutoff for popular branches like Computer Engineering is quite high
With an AP EAMCET 2025 rank of 15,480 , you have good chances of getting into Engineering branches like Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Agricultural, and Food Technology in many Tier-2 or Tier-3 colleges across Andhra Pradesh. You may also have moderate chances for ECE or EEE , and possibly CSE (Data Science/AI/ML) in lesser-known or rural colleges. However, CSE (Core) and IT branches in top colleges like JNTU Kakinada , JNTU Anantapur , Andhra University College of Engineering , GMRIT , SRKR , or Gayatri Vidya Parishad may not be available at this rank, especially in the General (OC) category .
Hello Aspirant,
Having an AP EAMCET rank of 25,578, obtaining a free (Category A/Convener quota) seat in CSE at JNTU Kakinada is almost impossible, especially for General category students. The closing rank for CSE at JNTUK is typically in the range of 2,000–5,000 for OC category. But If you are from a reserved category (BC, SC, ST) you may have a chance going into the lower-demand rounds of admissions or during spot admissions. However, an admission should be appropriately viewed as an alternate option if no other good colleges are available with CSE at this rank.
You are an EWS female candidate with 36800 EAMCET Rank, still, have proper chances in most of the decent engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Although you may not be able to work in the best government institutions, you may aspire to:
Good private universities offering branches like ECE, CSE (computing stream), EEE, or Civil
State-aided colleges with reserved EWS seats
To secure your seat:
Register and participate actively in the EAMCET web counselling
Have some of the state colleges and private colleges on your list of preference
Seek options under EWS quota and keep backup options
Keep yourself prepared with all the document proofs when filling choice and allocation of seats
