BITSAT Exam Day Guidelines 2026: BITS Pilani will release the BITSAT 2026 exam day guidelines on the official website, bitsadmission.com. The BITSAT 2026 test takers must follow these guidelines. The exam day include the dress code, a list of documents to carry and general instructions. It is important to stick to the BITSAT guidelines for exam day for a hassle-free experience. Candidates can also find the guidelines printed on their BITSAT admit card. The authority will conduct the BITSAT 2026 exam in two sessions: Session 1 will be conducted from April 15 to 17, 2026, while the session 2 exam is scheduled for May 24 to 26, 2026. BITSAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The authority will release the exam day guidelines for BITSAT 2026 through the admit card. Registered candidates can download the admit card from the official website. Aspirants can find all the BITSAT exam instructions below.

Exam Day Instructions for BITSAT 2026

  • It is mandatory to carry the admit card for BITSAT 2026 on the day of the test to enter the exam hall.

  • Candidates must present valid identity proof along with the hall ticket.

  • It is better to reach the BITSAT test venue at least 60 minutes before as examinees will not be allowed in the hall after the reporting time.

  • On the safe side, two passport-sized photos must be brought as well. The photographs must be the same as those uploaded during the BITSAT application process.

  • No one will be allowed to leave the exam room without submitting the OMR sheet to the invigilator in the exam hall.

  • Electronic devices like Bluetooth, calculators, smartwatches, cellphones, and others into the BITSAT exam hall.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Timings

The BITSAT 2026 exam will be held in two different sessions, and each session will be held in two shifts. The exam timings are mentioned in the official information handout for BITSAT 2026. Examinees must report to the BITSAT test venue at least an hour before the entrance exam. Based on the previous year's notification, the exam timings for BITSAT 2026 will be:

BITSAT Exam Dress Code

There is no specific BITSAT dress code. However, candidates are advised to wear sober and comfortable clothes. Here are a few other points to consider.

  • Do not wear any jewellery like heavy earrings, bangles, etc.

  • Wear simple slippers and not shoes or boots.

  • Candidates will not be allowed to cover their faces, so do not carry any scarves or steals with you to the examination hall.

  • Do not use hairpins, clutches, or belts.

Similarly, SRM KTR campus for CSE closes within ~2,000–5,000 rank, so core branches at SRM KTR may not be possible, but Ramapuram or Vadapalani campuses might offer CSE or allied branches.

Now, comparing your other two options:

VIT Bhopal vs. Chandigarh University (CU):

  1. VIT Bhopal

    • Part of the reputed VIT group.

    • Newer campus but decent infrastructure.

    • Better academic reputation than CU.

    • Good placements mainly for CSE/IT streams.

  2. Chandigarh University (CU):

    • Known for aggressive placement marketing.

    • Good exposure, foreign tie-ups, and more affordable for North Indian students.

    • Decent placement packages for CSE/AI/ML, but mass placements are often on the lower side.

Which Should You Choose?

If you get CSE or CSE-related branches at VIT Bhopal then you take admission at VIT Bhopal.
If not, Chandigarh University is a decent alternative, especially if you’re from North India and want affordability and exposure.
