Hi
The score required to crack JEE Mains depends on different factors , including your category , the specific college you are aiming for and the number of candidates appearing for the exam .
Here's some general guidelines :
1. General Category :
you need a score around 90 - 100+ out of 300 in JEE Mains .
To get admission in top NITs or IITs , score of 150 - 200+ can be competitive , depending on the branch and institute .
2. Reserved Categories ( OBC , SC , ST ) :

Helllo,
You can update your date of issue on an EWS certificate while there is a correction window for JEE Main. The National Testing Agency usually throws open such a window for updating fields like reservation category details, on which all applicants get updates in their application forms, including an EWS certificate. The correction window for the 2024 JEE cycle will open in December 2023 and again in January 2024. Here is your opportunity to update the issue date of EWS certificate; if any certificate issued after April 1, 2024, is not updated currently in your application.
For corrections on EWS or other categories, one can check the update announcements from the official site of JEE Main or Careers360 before availing the correction dates and guidelines.
For information about the correction process, have a look at the official guidance on Careers360: JEE Main correction window details on Careers360
