Hello Jaishree,

Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam (JEECE) is a state level exam for admission to all the engineering courses for admission to the government colleges in Jharkhand. All the engineering courses includes civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, ECE, EEE, etc. This year JEECE 2019 will be conducted on 26th May 2019 tentatively.

Hi!
When you will open the website for registration then for btech admission you have to apply for(JEECE) .JCECE is a conducting body that conduct the engineering, agriculture etc. examination but since you have to apply for engineering i.e b.tech open(JEECE).

Yes, there is state eligibility because it is exam of Jharkhand state so only jharkhand people can give this exam.


Eligibility criteria as follows:


Nationality

  • To be eligible, candidates need to be an Indian citizen

  • Candidates also need to fulfil the local/ permanent resident criteria of Jharkhand state, since JEECE is a state level entrance exam.

Residential Criteria

  • Candidates applying for JEECE 2019 should be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand. To prove the same, they will be required to produce their resident proof in the  format given at the time of counselling issued by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State.

Qualifying Exam

  • For those who are applying, must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board.

Qualifying Exam Subjects

  • Candidates need to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.

Hello Sumant,

To get Mechanical branch in BIT Sindri for a sc candidate, one should try to score above 50 in the JCECE entrance examination.
However sometimes the cutoff remains low depending on the difficulty level of the questions asked.

You should score 55-60 marks in JCECE exam to get seat in mechanical engineering in BIT sindri.

Hello,
Mechanical engineering is the top branch of BIT SINDRI ,so you should try to score atleast around 100 marks in JEECE or secure a rank under 100 in JEECE to get admission in ME branch there.

According to the authorities, the syllabus of JEECE 2019 will be similar to the 10+2th  standard CBSE syllabus. Knowing the syllabus will give the candidates an advantage of what has to be studied for JEECE. For getting rank under 400 in jcece is not a hard task.you should go through the books

Thoroughly you should check the books

Beside these books you must have to  solve previous year question papers as most of questions are copied from previous year papers.
