I guess you want to ask, what is the difference between JCECEB, JCECE AND JEECE, so I am answering your question accordingly.

 

1.JCECEB:

stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board. The government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various institute of the state For medical and engineering students. The board conducts exams that is given by the students of Jharkhand. 

 

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of State Government. The Government has constituted the Member of Board for taking decisions on policy and organizational matters in light of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board Act. 2000.

 

2.JCECE:

stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, which is conducted by JCECEB for admissions in the Engineering, M. B. B. S., Agriculture, Forestry, B. V. SC&A.H , Homeopathy and Ayurvedic disciplines. 

 

The exam is divided into three parts wiz.

 

PCM(physics  chemistry, maths)for B.Sc. Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering and Dairy Technology.

PCB(physics, chemistry, biology)for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture and

PCMB(physics, chemistry, maths, biology) for those who want to aply for all the above courses. 

EXAM LEVEL: state level(Jharakhand).

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:Only domicile of Jharkhand can apply for this entrance exam. Candidates have to produce Residence Certificate at the time of Counselling to demand their seats.

The age limit to apply for JCECE 2019 is 17-22 years for Agriculture program while there is no specified age limit for BHMS or B.Sc. courses

Only physically fit candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates will have to undergo a medical test to verify the same.

Passed 10+2 with PCB or PCM.

IMPORTANT DATES:

 

Availability of Online Application form  ::Second  week of April 2019

Last date for making the application   ::First week of May 2019

Availability of admit cards (online)      ::Third week of May 2019

JCECE 2019 exam date                     ::Last week of May 2019

Result Declaration                            ::Fourth week of June 2019

Councelling date                               ::July 2019

this year JCECE is organized in examination centers at Ranchi only.

 

FORM FILLING:

JCECE Application Form can be obtained inonlie mode from the official website jceceb.nic.in.

The application fee for PCB group is 900/- for General/BC-I/BC-II category while it is 450/- for SC/ST/Female candidates.

 

EXAM TYPE

There will be 3 group-wise Papers- Physics & Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Biotechnology.

All the questions are in MCQ (objective type) format. 

Each section will have 50 MCQs with 4 options.

You can either appear in English or Hindi for JCECE 2019.

stands for Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination. this exam is conducted by the by JCECEB for admissions in the Engineering courses in universities across Jharkhand.

It is to be noted that this exam is only for those who want to apply for the engineering courses and not for other courses while JCECE haas its centres only in Ranchi,  JECEE conducts its exam in Ranchi as well as in Dhanbaad.

 

EXAM LEVEL: state level(Jharkhand)

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

passed class 12th with PCM(with minimum of 45% in all subjects) 

have not set age restrictions

candidate should have a domicile of Jharkhand.

Syllabus of jcece 2019 is only 12th or both 11th and 12th

According to the authorities, the syllabus of JEECE will be similar to the 10+2th  standard CBSE syllabus. So I would suggest you to complete your Class 11th & 12th syllabus well. You can check JCECE syllabus with the given below link.

Hello Sumant,

I have gone through your comments. Coming to your questions yes, candidates belonging to PCMB can apply for BTECH in JCECE.

And to get Mechanical branch in BIT SINDRI, If you belong to general category then your CML rank should be under 500.

IT may happen that you might not get your desired branch in the 1st counseling, but you must attend the 2nd counseling, there are much chances that you might get Mechanical branch in the 2nd counseling with this rank.
And coming to the score that one should score to get a good rank, then I must say that there is no fixed score, the marks fluctuates with the difficulty level of the questions.

And the syllabus is same as of all the engineering entrance exams ( 11-12th syllabus of PCM)

Is the syllabus of jcece is only class 12th book or 11th also

JCECE Exam is devided into the sections Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, There will be total 150 no. of MCQ questions. The marking scheme- 1 marks will be awarded for each correct answers, ¼ marks will be deducted for each incorrect answers, No marks if no response is made in the answer sheets.

hello ashok,

i think there may be some problem, because Jharkhand Residential is required as eligibility.

Nationality To be eligible, candidates need to be an Indian citizen Candidates also need to fulfil the local/ permanent resident criteria of Jharkhand state, since JEECE is a state level entrance exam. Residential Criteria Candidates applying for JEECE 2019 should be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand. To prove the same, they will be required to produce their resident proof in the format given at the time of counselling issued by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State.

I belong to Jharkhand, also PWD category,OBC, ...how much should I score in jcece to get admission in bit sindri

Hello Aspirant,

To get BIT sindri it would be helpful if you score above 50 in jcece.The marks will definetly put you in a safe jone because  roughly  the cut off goes at max 450 rank to get admission.
