As jcece will not be conducted from this year ,what will be the minimum marks needed in class 12 pcm to get admission in bit sindri ?

Greetings, 

Shivam JCECE will be conducted this year in 4th week of May 2019 but not BCECE which is Bihar Combined Engineering Competitive Examination Board which is scrapped and now there will only be a central  counselling on the basis of JEE Main 2019 and NEET 2019 for seat allotment . You might be confused in these two entrance exam . Coming to the second question according to the eligibility  you need at least 45 % in you 12th board  to register for this exam. 

The exam will be conducted offline . 

Result will be declared in the last week of June 2019. 

Counselling will start in the first week of July 2019 . 

 Candidate should be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand and needs to present resident proof. 

Candidate should have subjects as physics , mathematics as compulsory subjects with chemistry. 

The application fee is 900 for general and 450 for SC/ST/ Female candidates. 

Exam centres will be Ranchi, Jharkhand, Jamshedpur. 

You will get 3 hours to solve the exam 

There will be 150 questions consisting physics, chemistry as well as maths section each of  50 marks.

Will I get colleges like IIT in jharkhand or BIT sindri through Jharkhand combined ?

Hello aspirant, 

You cannot get IIT through jharkhand combined ie JCECE.IIT admission is only through jee mains followed by jee advanced, anyone who qualifies in both main and advanced is eligible to be sit in IIT. For BIT sindri jcece is enough.Admission in BIT sindri is through jcece.

Hello Anshu,
Yeah, from 2019-20 session admission to BIT(Birsa Institute of Technology) SINDRI would be on the basis of JEE main rank instead of JCECE and would be done through online counseling conducted by NTA.
So, you should prepare for JEE mains to get admission in BIT Sindri. This notice has been declared recently. So, don't panic prepare well and give your best in the entrance examination.

Brother.. things have been changed now onwards. From 2019 session, a separate examination for engineering won't be conducted by JCECEB. BIT sindri would take admission by Jee mains.. You can refer to the official website of jceceb.

Hello Shivam,
Candidates must have cleared the Class 12th boards or equivalent with at least 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry. For the reserved categories, the criteria is set to 40% marks.

Through jeece the cutoff rank for bit sindri mechanical used to be under 500.
But from this time jeece is no more so there is no much update about the cutoff rank of bit sindri.

Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam (JEECE) is a state level exam for admission to all the engineering courses for admission to the government colleges in Jharkhand. All the engineering courses includes civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, ECE, EEE, etc. This year JEECE 2019 will be conducted on 26th May 2019 tentatively.

Hi!
When you will open the website for registration then for btech admission you have to apply for(JEECE) .JCECE is a conducting body that conduct the engineering, agriculture etc. examination but since you have to apply for engineering i.e b.tech open(JEECE).

Yes, there is state eligibility because it is exam of Jharkhand state so only jharkhand people can give this exam.


Eligibility criteria as follows:


Nationality

  • To be eligible, candidates need to be an Indian citizen

  • Candidates also need to fulfil the local/ permanent resident criteria of Jharkhand state, since JEECE is a state level entrance exam.

Residential Criteria

  • Candidates applying for JEECE 2019 should be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand. To prove the same, they will be required to produce their resident proof in the  format given at the time of counselling issued by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State.

Qualifying Exam

  • For those who are applying, must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board.

Qualifying Exam Subjects

  • Candidates need to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.
