Lovely Professional University offers a four-year BTech in Computer Science and Engineering programme at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech CSE offered at LPU are required to obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate in the Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English or equivalent subject to qualifying LPUNEST . 55% aggregate in the qualifying examination for North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. The admission will be based on the merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria. As you have qualified the NIOS exams, you are eligible to get admission in the BTech CSE programme offered at LPU.

After clearing the LPUNEST exam, student needs to participate in an online counseling where student need to select the preference of the desired stream of B.Tech .

LPUNEST exam is very much similar to JEE mains paper , but very much simple and without any negative marking. The paper is of 360 marks and it consists of three subjects viz. physics , maths  and chemistry.

Dear aspirant , To join for CSE at LPU you have to score 60% marks in 12th and need to score a minimum of 45% in LPUNEST entrance test also

LPU NEST for B Tech is also a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST.

One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well. The best out of the two results will be considered for scholarships. One can go to the admission offices physically and fill the forms manually as well. The minimum score required to qualify LPUNEST is 40 percent.
