Candidates can follow the steps to complete the UPES registration 2026

Step 1- Open the UPES application portal @ upes.ac.in.

Step 2- Complete the UPES registration using basic details like the candidate's name, guardian's name, admission mode (UPESEAT/JEE Main/Class 12), etc.

The authorities has released the UPES admission 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates who meet the UPESEAT 2026 eligibility criteria can eligible to apply. Before filling out the UPES Dehradun application form 2026. candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria, as it is mandatory to fulfil the conditions laid down by the authorities. Failure to meet the UPESEAT eligibility criteria 2026 can cause the candidate's application to be disqualified.

Eligibility Criteria- Minimum 50% Marks in Class X and XII. Minimum 50 % in PCM (Physics/Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class XII. (School of Advanced Engineering/ School of Computer Science)

OR

Minimum 50% Marks at X & XII with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English as a Major Subject in XII (School of Health Sciences & Technology)

Non-Exam Pathway

  • Board Merit: Minimum 80% marks in Class X, XII, and minimum 80% aggregate in PCM/B & JEE Main cut-off Rank to be announced (on UPES website) after the declaration of JEE Main 2026 results)

  • SAT Cut off - 50 percentile.

Step by step guide to fill UPESEAT application form 2026

The complete step-by-step detailed procedure to fill out the application form of UPES 2026 is provided here to help students apply for the exam easily.

Registration: The first step in applying to UPESEAT is registration. In this step, candidates have to enter basic details like name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, email address, course for which they are applying, and admission mode (UPESEAT/JEE Main/Class 12) in the UPES application form 2026. After entering all the details, candidates have to click on the “SEND OTP” button.

Students will receive the OTP on their mobile phone and email address, which they need to enter and click on the “Next” button. The UPESEAT login credentials will be created in this step. Candidates can use the login credentials for all steps of the UPES admission.

Academic Details in UPES application form 2026: After completing the registration part, candidates will have to provide details about their educational qualifications. Students will be required to enter class 10 and 12 subjects and marks. If applying through JEE Main, candidates will also be required to provide details of their score in JEE Main 2026.

Uploading Scanned Images: Candidates have to upload scanned images of passport-size colour photographs and signatures. The scanned image should be exactly as per the permissible size and format.

Payment of UPESEAT 2026 Registration Fees: Candidates will have to pay the application fee in online mode. Fees can be paid through credit/debit card or net banking. Students must retain a copy of UPES application form 2026 fee payment till the completion of the admission and counselling process.

Yes you can get free seat in SRM University by applying SRM entrance test. To get free seat in any college via writing AP EAPCET, you have to make sure that your rank should be below 30,000 to get any college.

Where as to get good college you should have rank below 10,000  for BCD category.!

Here on your doubt I want to tell you the minimum eligibility criteria for UPSC CSE is that you must have an undergraduate degree from any recognised University and the most important thing is that UPSC doesn't ask for the stream of graduation.It welcomes every candidate,doesn't matter from where and in which stream they are and completed their graduation.

So to become an IAS officer you must have to clear UPSC CSE and for that you must have an undergraduate degree from any recognised University and for that you can do whatever you want and in whichever you feel interested.

So to start your preparation you just enter your first year of college and do to preparation according to the latest syllabus of UPSC CSE.
