JEECE Counselling 2020
JEECE Counselling 2020 - Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will conduct the counselling of JEECE for the qualified candidates. The entrance exam has been discontinued since the last year and the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their JEE Main ranks. However, entrance test for admissions in Dairy Technology engineering and Agriculture engineering will be conducted. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling of JEECE 2020 in order of their merit. JEECE counselling 2020 will be held in two rounds including steps like reporting to the notified centre, verification of the documents, selection of course and programme,fee payment and seat allotment. JEECE 2020 Counselling Procedure
The counselling of JEECE 2020 will be conducted in offline mode by the authorities. Candidates will be required to report to the notified venue in person to participate in JEECE counselling. Two rounds of the counselling will be held where candidates listed in the merit list will be called to participate with the requisite documents (both original and self and self attested copies).
JEECE 2020 Counselling Round-I: Candidates will be called for the counselling based their ranks in the merit list . During the counselling of JEECE 2020, following steps to be followed:
Candidates will have to produce the requisite documents, both original and photocopies for verification.
Documents to be Submitted for Verification
Admit card of JEECE 2020 (if lost, then copy of FIR is required)
Admit card, Marksheet and Passing certificate of 10th and 12th standard
Income Certificate issued by Sub Divisional Officer (S.D.O) (Civil)/ D.C. of Jharkhand State for candidates claiming seat under TFQ quota.
Local Resident Certificate issued by S.D.O Civil/D.C. of Jharkhand State.
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
One passport size photograph
Dependency certificate issued by competent Army Officer (for serving Army Personnel/Officer) or Dependency certificate issued by District Soldier Board (for Ex-servicemen), who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota
Discharge Certificate (if applicable) I Pension Book, who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota

Selection of Course/Institutes- After the document verification, candidates will have to select the institute and course /stream from the available options in order of their preference.
Payment of JEECE 2020 Counselling Fees
Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee in the following modes:
Through net banking (RTGS)
Credit/debit cards using swipe machine
JEECE Seat Allotment 2020
The seats will be allotted on the basis of the candidates merit rank and preferences selected during the counselling process. Seat availability will also be a factor playing a role in JEECE 2020 seat allotment. The candidates who will be allotted seats will have to pay the admission fees of Rs. 1000 to confirm their admission. After paying the fees, the candidates will have to collect their provisional seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college. The remaining fees will have to be paid by the candidates at the allotted college.
After the seats are allotted, the candidates will be able to confirm their admission or participate in the next round of counselling. Those candidates who are satisfied with their allotment will have to report at their respective institutes for document verification and payment of tuition fees.
JEECE 2020 Counselling Round-II: The counselling of JEECE 2020 for round-II will be held if any vacant seats left. In round II counselling, candidates who will be offered seats in Round I can also participate if they wish to take admission in a different institute or courses/stream. The rest of the counselling procedures of this round will be the same as round I.

can I fill both icar as well as jcece form?
Yes, you can fill both the forms at a time.ICAR is conducted at national level for admission in agriculture colleges.Whereas JCECE is a state board exam conducted for admission in agriculture college of Jharkhand state.Make sure you have domicile of Jharkhand before applying in JCECE.

can i get admission in bit sindri by either of the ways..i.e. through jcece or jee mains?
Earlier JCECE was conducted for students of Jharkhand to get admission in BIT Sindri, but now you have to get admission to BIT Sindri through JEE Mains as jcece is no more conducted.
However for diploma students i.e. polytechnic students jcece is still conducted for lateral entry in 2nd year.

Is Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by JCECE happening this year?
ranking and counselling is conducted based on JEE mains examination and accordingly colleges like BIT Sindri and other colleges are allotted to students. The examination that you are talking about has been cancelled this last year too.
