JEECE Counselling 2018 - Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is conducting the JEECE 2018 counselling from July 7 onwards in offline mode. All of the qualified candidates listed in the merit list have to participate in the counselling of JEECE 2018. Since the JEECE counselling session will be conducted in offline mode, candidates have to physically report at the counselling venue. The counselling process would include document verification. Only the verified candidates will be able to choose their preferred choices of colleges and courses for admission. Allotment of seats will be done through JEECE counselling 2018 based on the candidate’s performance in the examination and their preferences. All of the candidates should have qualified JEECE examination. The allotted candidates will be required to pay the fee of JEECE 2018 counselling before verification. JEECE Merit List 2018


The admission authorities has released the combined merit list and category wise merit list for those candidates who attempted the entrance examination of JEECE 2018. During the allotment process, the ranking of the candidates in the merit list will be used. The candidates will be able to access the JEECE 2018 merit list in online mode.


JEECE 2018 Counselling Venue

JEECE 2018 Counselling Procedure


The counselling of JEECE 2018 will be held in offline mode for candidates who are listed on the merit list. Since the counselling session is conducted in offline mode, candidates are required to present physically at the venue. JEECE counselling 2018 will be conducted in two rounds. 

  • Round I Counselling: Candidates will be called for counselling of JEECE 2018 as per their rank in the merit list. The details related to date, time and place of counselling has been released by the authorities. At the time of counselling, the candidate will be able to select the institute and course /stream from the available options at the time. The counselling process also includes document verification.
  •  Round II Counselling: The second round of JEECE 2018 counselling will be conducted in case there are any vacant seats left. In round II, even those candidates who have been offered seats in Round I can also participate if they wish to take admission in a different institute or courses/stream. The rest of the counselling procedures of this round will be the same as round II.

The candidates will be able to pay the counselling fee of JEECE 2018 through any of the below-mentioned modes of payment:

  • Through net banking (RTGS)

  • Credit/debit cards using swipe machine

JEECE 2018 Seat Allotment


Allotment of seats will be done according to their merit ranks and selected preferences. The availability of the seats will also be another factor which will affect the allotment. The candidates who are successfully allotted will have to pay their admission fees of Rs. 1000. After paying the fees, the candidates will have to collect their provisional seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college. The remaining fees will have to be paid by the candidates at the allotted college. After the seats are allotted, the candidates will be able to confirm their admission or participate in the next round of counselling. Those candidates who are satisfied with their allotment will have to report at their respected institutes for document verification and payment of tuition fees. 


Documents to be Submitted for Verification

  • JEECE 2018 Admit Card

  • Aadhaar Card

  • 10th and 12th Standard Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate

  • Income Certificate issued by Sub Divisional Officer (S.D.O) (Civil)/ D.C. of Jharkhand State for candidates claiming seat under TFQ quota.

  • Caste Certificate and Local Resident Certificate issued by S.D.O Civil/D.C. of Jharkhand State.

  • One passport size photograph

  • Dependency certificate issued by competent Army Officer (for serving Army Personnel/Officer) or  Dependency  certificate  issued  by  District  Soldier  Board  (for Ex-servicemen), who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota

  • Discharge Certificate (if applicable) I Pension Book, who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota

  • Admit card of JEECE 2018 (if lost, then copy of FIR is required)
