"candidates who appeared in class 12th (or equivalent) examination in 2020 for the first time are also eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2022 PROVIDED they satisfy the following two criteria simultaneously:
***** The candidate should have appeared ONLY ONCE for JEE (Advanced), either in the year 2020 or 2021; OR, have NOT appeared in any paper in both JEE (Advanced) 2020 and JEE (Advanced) 2021.
***** These candidate(s) should appear/should have appeared in JEE (Main) 2022 and meet the cut-off score of the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) for qualifying for JEE (Advanced) 2022 in their respective category."
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!!!
This year (2022), National Testing Agency or NTA has removed all the percentage criteria for Joint Entrance Examination, so you no longer need to have 75% marks in your class XIIth examinations.
If you even take a drop and plan to give JEE next year even then there is no problem as the minimum requirement is 75% and you have more than that. So, if you just do well in JEE Main, you'll be eligible to give JEE Advanced!
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
The eligibility criteria of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced or JEE Advanced is that first you'll have to clear Joint Entrance Examination, Main or JEE Main in your category. So, essentially, yes, JEE Advanced needs JEE Main as an eligibility criteria.
hai dear !
yes , you need to qualify the jee mains than only you will eligible for jee advance . for more information follow this link

Hi
Jee main 2022 qualifying cut off percentile to be eligible for jee advanced hasn't been released yet, it will be released by NTA along with jee main 2nd session results.
Now,
Making prediction is difficult as cutoff depends upon various factors like :-
----------------------------) number of students/ candidates that appeared in the jee main exam,
---------------------------) jee main examination difficulty level.
---------------------------) the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then,
Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced is given below :-
--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile
--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile
--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile
--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile
--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile
--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile
You can check the same at our page the link is provided below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
So, to be on the safer side, you need at least around 46+ percentile to qualify jee main 2022 if you are from sc category
Thus, with your 79 percentile yes you have good chance to qualify jee main and be eligible for jee advanced

HEY STUDENT!
YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO GIVE JEE MAINS/ ADVANCED IN 2023.
Also, in addition to this, there is no such criteria of 75% marks in your board examination as per the notification issued by NTA 2022. JEE MAINS just needs to see your 12th score irrespective of your percentage as there is no minimum requirement for the same. Certainly, there is no age limit for appearing for JEE MAINS/ ADVANCED.
Eligibility criteria of JEE MAINS is you just need to pass your 12th board exam or equivalent for appearing in JEE (M+ A).
Check eligibility criteria for JEE MAINS here: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria
Good luck
Hello,
As you questioned, let me clarify that it depends on your category. For example, if you are in the SC or ST group, you may qualify for JEE 2023 with a grade of 74 percent because the minimum need for SC and ST candidates to enter JEE is 65 percent. However, because there is a 75 percent cutoff, if you fall under the OBC or general category, you will not be permitted to sit for the JEE 2023 test with a score of 74% in the 2022 class 12 board exam. According to the "75 percent criteria," a candidate will only be qualified for JEE if he or she received at least a 75 percent in the class 12 board test or placed in the top 20 percentile on an analogous exam. Consequently, you won't be qualified for JEE 2023 because of this requirement.
But why don't you take the JEE this year as you would be qualified to do so this year even if your test score is only 71 percent? You can take the test this year even with a 71 percent score because the 75 percent requirement has been removed for JEE 2022. However, it is unclear if this criterion will still apply to applicants the following year. So do your best to perform well and show up for JEE this year. Because you will need to enrol in any private institution if you aren't qualified for the JEE.
Good Luck!!

Dear Aspirant,
The rank with this mark is heavily dependent on the difficulty of the question paper, the total marks of the paper, the number of students attempting the exam.
For instance, in a year this mark yielded about 2 - 3 k rank but in some other year it yields about 7 - 8 k rank. It all depends on the question paper. Going by previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting Aerospace in IIT B with this mark. For more information about the cutoffs please check the link below.
