Joint Entrance Exam Advanced
Hello,
Last year the qualifying cut off percentile to qualify in JEE Main was as follows for each category
If you belong to OBC-NCL category you have decent chances to qualify in JEE Main and appear for JEE Advanced considering the previous year cut off. NTA will release the cut off for JEE Main. The cut off percentile is subjected to change every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and other such factors. Hello Aspirant,
See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.
But o n such percentile, being a general candidate, you have very less or almost no chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-
On such percentile you cannot get any of the NITs.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing great !! I want to tell you that your chances of clearing the JEE Advanced with 50 marks in SC/St category is very very less . Therefore , the chances of getting admission in any one of the IITs is quite impossible . Hope it helps and all the best for your future endeavors . For the iit you need to have at least 95+ marks for reserved Categories .
Hope it helps you!
Thanks

If you appeared for JEE-Main 2022 then you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2022 score:-
See as you have not mentioned the name of college so it is quite difficult to tell you whether you will be getting admission in that college through JEE-Advance or not. So for better guidance kindly mention the name of college.
However, from JEE-Advance score, one can get admission in IITs for Engineering courses.
I hope you got my point.

Hello Ramya,
The JEE Advanced is the gateway examination for the nation's top-most premiere colleges, the IITs. It is only appeared by a selected sect of students from the JEE Mains. A candidate becomes eligible to register for JEE Advanced if and only if they have cleared that respective year's cutoff in JEE Mains according to their category.
In your case you have not given your Mains in 2021, you can surely appear in Advanced 2023 after qualifying the Mains 2023, so keep a high score to avoid any hassles.
