Joint Entrance Exam Advanced
Hello Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to predict the exact percentile corresponding to your JEE score as it depends on many factors like shift, no. of students, toughness, etc. But yes with the help of our predictor tool we can predict based on the previous year trends.
With 116 marks in JEE main, your percentile will be around 94.59 - 96.73 percentile. You can also verify your percentile by using our rank predictor tool foe which the link is given below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Since you have not mentioned the category, so considering it to be general. So even in general category, you'll easily clear the cutoff for JEE Advance. As previous year cutoff for general was 87.8992241 percentile.
Using this percentile you can predict the best colleges for you by using our tool which is given below in the link:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B
Thank you
See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2022 the final result will be released after both the attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst both attempts.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
So to be on the safer side of qualifying you should secure at least 90+ percentile being a General candidate.
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
For JEE ADVANCED, you have a maximum of 2 attempts i.e., the first attempt is considered in the 12th board year and the 2nd attempt is consider as the consecutive year or 1 year post 12th board examination. Now if you don't clear the JEE Mains cut off in any of the two attempts, then it would be count as two attempts. So even if you qualify for the JEE ADVANCED, the attempts will be counted.

Hi,
For a ST Candidate to qualify JEE Advanced you need to score according to 2022 one must score 8.75% of total marks of the Jee advanced exam, that is in each subject you need to score a minimum of 2.50% marks of the total subject score. That is to say you need to score a minimum of 31 marks.

I hope that was helpful.
See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.
But o n such percentile, being a SC candidate, you have very good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
You can use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
See there is no any percentile system in JEE-Advance like that of JEE-Main but there is only ranking system so being a SC candidate if you are seeking top notch IITs with top branches such as CSE/IT/ECE then you should have your SC rank somewhere around 1500 and for other branches the rank should be under 5000 to be on the safer side of allotment.
See the cut-offs keep changing every year and this year also we saw a slight dip in the cut-offs but counselling is yet to be conducted so it would be bit difficult to provide you the exact chances of seat allotment in any particular college.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous years cut-off data and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
