I have got 70 marks in Jee mains 28july shift1 .. Am i qualify for Jee advanced ???

Vishwathiga J 4th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant,

We can't say the exact percentile and qualifying percentile for sure as it varies based on the nun of students attempting the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, the preparation level of the students etc.

But we can make a few predictions based on the previous year trends.

We can say that you have a really good chance of getting something between 89-91percentile with this marks

For general category, the cut off was 89.75 percentile last year and hence looking at the trends, 90 is generally a safe percentile to consider for qualifying.

So, if you belong to the general category there is a small chance that you might not qualify for JEE ADVANCED.

If you belong to EWC, OBC NCL, SC, ST category, there is a very good chance for you to get qualified for JEE Advanced.

For more details please check the link below.

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,

See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.

But o n such percentile, being a SC candidate he has some chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

hello sir i got 37 mark in 2022 jee mains .it is sufficient for jee advance

shivamtrivedi0005 3rd Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant

Sorry, but you have no chance for JEE ADVANCE. Candidates with JEE Main score over 150 can have a decent chance of getting into JEE Advanced. However, NTA sets the cutoff, which changes every year.

For Eligibility, syllabus of JEE Advance, please refer:
