Do concepts get repeated in JEE Advanced?

thakurvishesh1 9th Aug, 2022

A lot of times! See the concepts are limited and they have to make the questions again and again on the same concepts, due to which the question does not repeats but the concepts repeat. The concepts which have repeated in the past are:

Kirchhoff's Law
Alpha/Beta Decay
General Kinematics

Electrochemistry (breaking down)
Strength of Acids/Bases
Number of Lone Pairs

Like these there are many more, that is the reason why it is recommended to go through the papers of previous years. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

if Im prepare for JEE as a partial dropper, so it is important to clear my college first year?

Sayan 9th Aug, 2022

Hello,

It can be difficult to decide to take a partial drop, but if you have faith in yourself and are serious about getting into IIT, why not try again? If you make a decision, stick to it; else, you'll constantly wonder why you didn't take a partial drop.

As per your query, it is not important to clear your college if you get better colleges through JEE exam.

Note : Basic eligibility criteria of JEE 2023

JEE Main 2023 will be open to applicants who passed the class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2021, 2022 or who will take the exam in 2023.

To be eligible for JEE Main 2023, the candidates must have earned passing grades in all five of the following subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or any other technical topic.

Thank You

Should I take 20 mocks for Jee or should I revise a lot for jee advanced 2022?? I just want 6k-7k rank in the examination.

piyush263001 9th Aug, 2022

Hello,

In these last few days it is very important you give as many mock tests as possible , because it wil help you check the level of your preparation.

Also when you will give mock test you can easily get to know the topics you are not that good with and also the topics and concepts you forgot.

It is very important that you not only give mock tests but also analyze each and every mock test, so that you don't repeat the same mistake in your examination.

In these last few days before your JEE Advanced Examination, you can give a mock each day and in the remaining time you can analyse your mock and revise the concepts.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

My Crl rank is 2lakh99thousand and my category is ews i have cleared the cutoff my percentile is 68.3 i am eligible for jee advanced or not in2022

Sanjana 9th Aug, 2022

Hey aspirant

Cut off percentile for ews candidate is 66 percentile. So yes you are eligible for jee advanced in this year itself. With above rank you can also try in private engineering colleges. Chance of getting admission in NIT is too low for above mark. By improving your score in jee advanced you can get admission in IITs.  Also now  you have good scope of getting admission in private colleges. Sayan 9th Aug, 2022

Hello,

At first I will say, don't lose hope and don't give up in midway. As per your query, you clear Jee Main, so prepare for Jee Advance now. Focus your incorrect one and try to understand it.

Give your best and make a way to go into IIT.

Apart from this, the following list of colleges are follows as per your 69 percentile -

  • LPU Phagwara
  • NIMS University, Jaipur
  • Chandigarh University
  • Brainware University,Kolkata
  • KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar and many more.

CRL rank-192928 and GEN-EWS rank - 25649, am I eligible for jee Advance ?? In which NIT will I get CSE ??

Anurag Khanna 10th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

To check whether you are eligible for JEE-Advance or not, you can either check your scorecard properly or kindly provide us your best percentile that you have achieved in JEE-Main 2022 because eligibility for JEE-Advance cannot be determined from the ranks but from percentile.

However, the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so now you can check whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2022 or not, JEE-Main 2022 qualifying cut-offs are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 88.4121383 percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 63.1114141 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 67.0090297 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 43.0820954 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 26.7771328 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0031029 Percentile

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

Also on such EWS rank you cannot get any of the NITs so CSE branch is quite impossible and that too in NITs is not possible on sch EWS rank.
