Hey, Im planning to take 2nd drop for JEE Mains. Will I be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023, I havent been able to qualify for it yet? I passed class 12th in 2021, and since then have appeared for JEE Mains in 2021 and 2022.

Dear aspirant,

No, you will not be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced during your second drop year.

This year, they have provided certain relaxations for people who have appeared for the boards in the year 2020 but as I mentioned earlier this is a one-time measure and hence, most likely will not be carried forward next year.

Usually, a candidate is allowed to appear for JEE-Advanced only twice - in the year of passing class 12 and the following year. This applies for all regardless of if you have previously been qualified for advanced or not.

Hope this helps.

I have uploaded a declaration form for ews in jee advanced as my ews was made before 1 april and it will take time for me to renew it. But I made a mistake that in the declaration form I did not stick the passport size photo. Will it affect my category? And will I be able to give jee advanced 2022?

Hello Student
Before appearing in Either jee mains or JEE advanced you have to correct the mistake you have done in the form fill up of EWS category category.St the time of correction spell of Jee mains you have to correct the mistakes for not pasting your passport size photograph. You have to place the photograph in proper column. Then you will not be in a problem of your candidature, appearing in the exam,or getting your result. .
Hope this helps.

if I only give JEE advance one time last year can I give JEE advance this year also

No, if you qualify 2021 mains then you have to qualify 2022 advance itself. For the next year you have to give JEE Mains again for qualifying advance.
