Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, i would liek to tell you that it's little difficult to predict precisely which top iit's you can get with this GATE Score in XE. This is because the GATE cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students. GATE Cutoff for IITs is different for each discipline and category. GATE 2021 Cutoff for IIT Madras for CS was 816 while for IIT Kharagpur it was 776 for the General Category .
The GATE qualifying cutoff depends on several other factors like :
Performance of the candidate GATE exam.
Category of the candidates
Previous cutoff trends
However, looking at the previous year GATE Cutoff and your scored marks in GATE XE exam, your chances to get into top NIT's or IIT's are difficult. TO get into top IIT's, the cutoff ranks are very higher.
But, do not worry. With this marks, you can apply for M. tech in state universities and private colleges. You will get a stipend as you have a qualified gate.
Further, you can read the GATE cutoff article by following the below mentioned link :

Dear applicant it is very hard to admit that you didn't have a strong CGPA during your Bachelor's degree however I would give you suggestion which would help you to decide among your Master's Curriculum. After completion of B.Tech if your choice of curriculum is MBA then it's good however if you can prepare well and crack the GATE Examination then your chances will be more during selection interviews as you have already completed your B.Tech degree, followed by you would receive 12400 fellowship every month during your Master's Degree. Still if you wish to pursue MBA course that is also well accepted,

In GATE exam candidates must have passed Graduation in Bachelor's or Master's in relevant field from a recognised Board.
There is no age limit for appearing for GATE exam. So, you can appear for GATE exam.
