Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Hi
Both are similar branches. Avionics is basically a mixture of Computers and Electronics Engineering. You are taught the automation and programming part related to space technologies in avionics. In some core companies we could get opportunity to design control system and displays.
Due to modern digital fly-by-wire system every control is by electronic means than mechanical so there is a huge demand for ECE engineers.
Hello Krishna,
Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati does not offer M.Tech Food Science and Technology but they offer International Joint Master of Technology in Food Science and Technology ( I nternational & Inter Disciplinary (Joint Degree Program of IIT Guwahati and Gifu University, Japan) in Food Science and Technology), from 2019 inwards this course is being offered in IIT Guwahati.

Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
I am sharing with you the eligibility criteria and admission process of IIT Kharagpur for MTech in food processing.
Eligibility criteria is that you must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/M.Sc or equivalent professional degrees (AMIE etc.) and having a valid GATE score. You need to make sure that your GATE marks are above the cut-off marks of your category and GATE paper.
Admission is based on gate score or gate score( 70% weightage) and then a personal interview round. A personal interview is necessary because it tests motivation and aptitude for the Programme, suitability for the department/center, Skills in basic science, engineering, and relevant areas. And one more thing is that the personal interview will be conducted at IIT Kharagpur only.
Hope this helps.
Hello candidate
With reference to your query, you should know that you are not eligible for appearing in the GATE examination after B.Sc. However, you can appear in the GATE examination if the B.Sc was of 4 years. You can still appear in the IIT Jam exam for studying in the postgraduate courses.
Hello,
According to the previous year Topper's Marks a student with 87.81 scored had secured GATE Score of 1000 in CSE Discipline. GATE Score is subjected to vary every year as it depends on highest score and total number of candidates appeared. If we consider the previous year marks vs GATE Score you need to score at least 65-75 marks or more in GATE 2022 for your GATE score to be above 500. The trend changes every year this is approximate score. Please click the below link to check the GATE Marks vs Rank trend.

You have not mentioned your Caste Category, so I'm considering it as General Category.
See it is difficult to determine before cut-offs changes from year to year and may depend on many factors.
You must have minimum 60 percentage if you belong to general category and 55 percentage if you belong to reservation category, in Graduation from a recognised Board.
Previous year's cut-off Rank for M.Tech Food Processing Technology in Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur are given below.
Previous year's GATE cut-offs:
General Category: 741 Cut-off Rank
EWS Category: 567 Cut-off Rank
OBC Category: 688 Cut-off Rank
SC Category: 461 Cut-off Rank
ST Category: 407 Cut-off Rank
