hello aspirant,
Looking at the previous year GATE Qualifying Cutoff trends and analytics, you have good chances to get top NIT's but I do not think and promise for IIT. For a score range of 500 to 600 in GATE, there are good chances of securing admission into top NITs. Every year, the maximum GATE 2022 cutoff for admission in NIT goes up to 800-850, the minimum cutoff stands at 350-400 . There a score range of 500 to 600 can be considered as a good performance in the GATE exam.
Further, A candidate who wishes to get direct admission into IISC/ IITs must try to score a GATE rank of nearly 1000.
Further, the above prediction is solely based on the previous year GATE qualifying Cutoff. It may vary for present year as teh GATE Cutoff and Qualifying Score varies every year and it depends on several factors like : Difficulty level of the paper , number of aspirants appearing, previous year Cutoff, etc.
Further, to know more about the GATE Previous year Cutoff branch wise, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff

This will help.
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned the category so considering it as General.
If we go through the analysis of previous year's GATE score Vs College allotment than according to the GATE 2022 score mentioned by you in the query you have very less or almost no chances of getting CSE in any of the IITs or NITs because their cut-offs are somewhere around 700+ marks for General category so I would recommend you to go with some private colleges in states like Andhra Pradesh , Telangana and some others because some private colleges also accept admission on the basis of GATE score.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the links given below :-
GATE 2022 Cutoff for IITs - Check GATE 2022 Cut off for M.Tech Admission (careers360.com)
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your GATE 2022 Score and category you can use GATE College Predictor :-
