Uni-GAUGE-E 2018 – The exam conducting authority has announced the result of Uni-GAUGE 2018 in online. Candidates can check their result and download their scorecard by entering their log-in id and password. Earlier, final answer key of Uni-GAUGE 2018 was released by the authorities. ERA foundation conducted Uni-GAUGE-E 2018 entrance exam on May 13, 2018, for admission to B.E/B.Tech courses offered by 17 participating institutes. Uni-GAUGE-E 2018 exam was conducted in computer-based mode at 140 test centres across India. The question paper of Uni-GAUGE-E included multiple choice questions from three subjects – physics, chemistry, and mathematics. A total of 180 questions, carrying 1 mark each, were asked; for incorrect attempt candidate were awarded zero marks. The application form of Uni-GAUGE-E 2018 was available in online mode till April 20. Candidates were able to download test admission tickets/ admit cards for Uni-GAUGE-E from May 4 to 12. To download the admit card, candidates were supposed to log-in to their individual Uni-GAUGE 2018 accounts. Candidates who have taken the online exam can check the result of Uni-GAUGE 2018 by logging into their individual accounts. Declared on May 28, the Uni-GAUGE 2018 result is available in the form of test scores. The Uni-GAUGE result 2018 would include section-wise raw score and percentile obtained by the candidate. Using the score card and other prescribed documents, the candidate has to apply separately to individual participating institutes. Based on the scores received by a participating institute, it will prepare a merit list for admission. Also, Uni-GAUGE authorities will not release any common merit list for the participating institutes.
Uni-GAUGE Answer key 2018
The exam conducting authority released the final answer key of Uni-GAUGE 2018 on May 25. The final answer key contained the official answers to the questions asked in the entrance exam. By comparing their answers with those given in the final Uni-GAUGE 2018 answer key, calculate can calculate their probable scores; the prescribed marking scheme may be used for the purpose. The provisional answer key was released on May 17. If a candidate had any complaints against the answer key, they could send in their complaints by May 21. The online test admission ticket/admit card of Uni-GAUGE 2018 was available from May 4 to 12. The admission ticket was not sent to candidates by either post, courier or email, but had to be download by logging into their account by using their credentials. After downloading the admit card/test admission ticket of Uni-GAUGE 2018, one needs to take a printout of the ticket; without the admit card of Uni-GAUGE 2018, the candidates were not allowed to take the test. The online Uni-GAUGE test admission ticket 2018 carried details like the Test Admission Ticket number (TAT number), test time, exam centre details, and general instructions for the exam.
How to download Uni-GAUGE 2018 Admit Card/Test Admission Ticket

- Check that the details mentioned on it are legible and correct and take a print out of it.
The application form of Uni-GAUGE 2018 was available in online mode. Candidates must note that once the Uni-GAUGE 2018 application form is submitted, it can’t be edited anymore. So, when filling it, candidates need to ensure not only their eligibility but that correct information is being entered and in the prescribed manner. Uni-GAUGE Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates seeking admission to B.E/B.Tech needs to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria of Uni-GAUGE 2018, as otherwise they will not be considered for admission. Also since the participating institutes of Uni-GAUGE 2018 will have their own institute-specific eligibility criteria, it may so happen that a candidate may be eligible for admission in one institute, but may be ineligible for another. Nevertheless, there are some basic Uni-GAUGE eligibility criteria 2018 that all candidates must meet.
Eligibility Criteria of Uni-GAUGE 2018
Age: The candidate should be minimum 17 years of age as on December 30, 2018, i.e. the candidate must be born on or before December 31, 2001.
Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have passed PUC or 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized institute, with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one of Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as an optional subject. Additionally, the candidate must have passed English.
Percentage of marks in qualifying exam: The minimum prescribed marks is 45% in aggregate (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates). Also, the candidate needs to have passed in all of the above subjects individually.
Candidates awaiting result of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
Diploma students can also apply for admission to B.E/B.Tech courses.
The exam pattern of Uni-GAUGE 2018 provides details about type of questions asked in the entrance exam, the difficulty level, medium of the exam, marking scheme and other such insights, which can be used for effective exam preparation. As per the Uni-GAUGE 2018 exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in English and of 3 hours duration. Questions will be asked from three subjects – physics, chemistry and mathematics.

A total of 180 questions will be asked. The three subjects – physics, chemistry and mathematics – will contribute 60 questions each.
For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking.
Tie-breaking rule: In the event, two or more candidates score the same marks, the candidate with least negative responses will be ranked higher. If tie still persists, other methods will be adopted to break the deadlock.
The syllabus of Uni-GAUGE 2018 includes the unit-wise topics from which questions will be asked in the entrance exam. Candidates who want to score well must follow the Uni-GAUGE 2018 syllabus, and not those released by unofficial sources. A key point to note about Uni-GAUGE 2018 syllabus is that it is equivalent to the syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC. What this means is the candidate can prepare for the entrance exam simultaneously with their preparation for the board exams.

To participate in the counselling and seat allotment process, candidates need to have qualified Uni-GAUGE 2018 entrance exam. However, there will be no common Uni-GAUGE 2018 counselling and seat allotment process for admission in participating institutes. Instead, the institutes will conduct their counselling process separately. Each participating institute will invite candidates for participation in the counselling process based on the merit lists prepared by them; candidates who are ranked higher in the merit list will be given preference over lower ranked candidates during seat allotment.
To initiate the counselling process, candidates will have to first download their Uni-GAUGE-E 2018 scores, and confirm their eligibility for a course offered by a participating institute. The candidate has to then apply separately to the participating institute using the downloaded test scorecard and other relevant documents. After receiving the application, the participating institute will verify the details provided by the candidate with ERA foundation and prepare a merit list for counselling and seat allotment.
Uni-GAUGE Cutoff 2018
The exam conducting authorities doesn’t publish a common Uni-GAUGE Cutoff 2018. Instead, it is the participating institutes that will individually determine their cutoffs. Consequently, the cutoff trends may vary across institutes, depending on a host of factors, important among them being the availability of seats, total number of applicants, and the course applied for admission. Generally, if the candidate applies to a popular course, chances are the candidate would need a higher rank to be in the running for a seat, as cutoff would likely be high.
Uni-GAUGE Fee Structure 2018
There are 17 participating institutes of Uni-GAUGE 2018, with each having their own unique fee structure. Candidates may note that the fee structure of Uni-GAUGE not only varies from participating institute to institute but may also vary within the institute depending on the course the candidate wants to take admission to.
