JEE Main 2025 Notification

National Testing Agency will release the NTA JEE Main 2025 brochure in November 2024 at the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. With the release of the notification, candidates will be able to check details on the IIT entrance exam 2025 dates, registration, syllabus and more. JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified Class 12 board exams in the year 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 are eligible to apply for JEE Mains 2025. However, the candidate may be required to meet the JEE eligibility criteria of the institute to which they are taking admission.

• Should be in the final year of the examination of 10+2. Candidate in intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
• The Joint Service Wing of the National Defence Academy is eligible provided they have a two-year course.
• Passed 10+2 conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
• A 3-year diploma holder will also be eligible for NTA JEE Mains 2025.
• Students from the (NIOS) appearing for 10+2 should select the State for eligibility.
• There is no specific JEE Main age limit.

JEE Main 2025 Application Form

The application form for JEE Main exam 2025 will be released in online mode only. The application process will contain JEE registration, form filling, uploading of documents, and payment of fees. You can follow the steps below to apply for NTA JEE Main 2025.

How to fill out the JEE Main 2025 application form?

• Registration: Candidates are required to complete the JEE Main 2025 registration form. During the registration procedure, candidates are to provide correct information and fill out the form with no mistakes. Recorrections will not be accepted.
• Filling the form: After completing the NTA JEE registration process, candidates have to complete the application form by providing details of personal information, and educational qualifications, apply for the exam, and select the city of the exam.
• Upload photograph: After filling out the form, candidates need to upload a photo of themselves, signature, address proof, category certificate, and PwD certificate.
• Fee payment: The application fee can be paid online on their official site. The payment accepted is via credit card, debit card, net banking, and UPI. Candidates need to take a printout of the NTA JEE Mains 2025 online confirmation page.

JEE Main 2025 Syllabus

It is expected that JEE Main exam syllabus will remain the same. There will be no reduction in 2025. The syllabus for JEE Main 2025 includes important topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of NCERT Class 11 and 12. It is expected that the JEE Main 2025 syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will remain the same as 2024. Also, the syllabus for JEE Mains 2025 will remain the same for session 1 and session 2. High-weightage JEE Main Physics Topics

• Laws of Motion- Under this unit, important topics to keep in mind are Force and Inertia, Newton’s First Law of Motion; Momentum, Newton’s Second Law of Motion; and Impulse, Newton’s Third Law of Motion. The weightage of these topics is 4%.

• Gravitation- The universal law of gravitation. Acceleration due to gravity and its variation with altitude and depth. The topic has a weightage of 2%.

• Properties of Solids and Liquids- Elastic behaviour, Stress-strain relationship, Hooke’s Law, Young’s Modulus, Modulus of rigidity.

• States of Matter- Classification of matter into solid, Liquid and Gaseous states.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

The paper pattern of JEE Main 2025 will consist of two sections. According to the JEE Mains paper pattern, Section A will have 20 Multiple Choice Questions while Section B will consist of 10 Numerical value type questions. For section B, candidates will have a choice to attempt any five questions out of 10. The exam duration for JEE Mains 2025 is 3 hours with a total mark of 300.

For candidates appearing in both sessions, the best score of the two will be considered for the final result and All India Rank.

JEE Mains 2025 Counselling

To get admission to premium engineering colleges of India, Candidates need to take part in the JEE Main counselling, commonly referred as JOSAA. The registration for the same will commence after the declaration of JEE Advanced result. The tentative JEE Mains counselling registration start date will fall in June 2025. The full form of JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Examination (Main).
