How to Prepare for TS EAMCET 2026?- TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JNTUH on behalf of TSCHE for admission into B.Tech, B.Pharma, and agriculture courses. The exam is held every year in online mode, covering the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics syllabus of classes 11 and 12. The TS EAMCET 2026 exam is tentatively scheduled to take place in May, 2026.
The TS EAMCET 2026 Engineering stream will be held in May, 2026, while the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams may schedule earlier, in April, 2026. Aspirants preparing for the exam can follow structured strategies and tips to strengthen their preparation and improve performance. Here we are sharing tips for better preparation.
1. Learn to Switch Contexts Like the Exam
The paper mixes Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology questions randomly, so you must adapt quickly. Practice solving mixed sets instead of focusing on one subject at a time. This builds mental agility and prevents slow starts during the real test.
2. Practice with Time Ratios, Not Just Full-Length Tests
Instead of always taking 3-hour mocks, practice dividing your time proportionally, Math/Biology gets more time, Physics and Chemistry less. Training in these time ratios helps you manage pacing and avoid rushing at the end.
3. Build Formula Memory Maps
Group formulas and reactions into visual clusters rather than keeping a plain list. Redraw these maps from memory every week. This trick helps to remember things better , makes connections clearer, and reduces the chances of forgetting key formulas in the exam.
4. Practice in Noise Issues
The exam hall won’t be having that peaceful vibe, you may face distractions such keyboard clicks or voices. While you practice solving tests with mild background noise once a week, it conditions your mind to keep yourself focused even in imperfect environments.
5. Make Use of Reverse Revision Cycles
Rather than going for just revising chapters in the same order each time, reverse the sequence in alternate weeks. This helps to manage retention across the syllabus and make sure older topics remain fresh till the exam day.

Hey! With a 14,000 rank in TS BiPC EAMCET and belonging to the ST category, you have a chance to get admission in B.Tech Biotechnology in some government or private colleges in Telangana through counselling. The exact colleges depend on seat availability and cut-offs for your category, but generally, you may get seats in private colleges or state universities offering biotechnology.
It’s best to check the official TS EAMCET counselling website for the updated list of colleges and their cut-offs for the ST category to make a proper choice.
With a TS EAMCET rank of 20204 , getting a seat in PJTSU (Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad) depends on the category you belong to, the branch you are targeting, and yearly cutoffs. For popular courses like B.Sc Agriculture or B.Tech Agriculture Engineering , the cutoff is usually much lower (within a few thousand ranks) for General/OC category , while for reserved categories (BC, SC, ST, EWS) the cutoff can go much higher, sometimes even above 20,000–25,000. You still have chances in less competitive campuses or allied agricultural courses, but it is less likely for the top main campus in Hyderabad with this rank. My advice is to attend counseling, explore management quota/affiliated colleges , and also keep other agricultural universities or private options in mind to stay safe.

Hello,
You have a good chance of getting a seat in Sultan-ul-Uloom College for PharmD with a 27k rank in TS EAMCET under the OBC category. Because you fall under the range where you can get admission to this college for this specific course, so you should try in this college.

Hello,
Earlier, TS EAMCET used to give weightage to Intermediate (Class 12) marks along with entrance exam marks. But from 2020 onwards, the rule was changed, and now 100% weightage is given to the EAMCET exam score only. Class 12 marks are only used as an eligibility condition (like you must pass in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology with required percentage). So, for 2026 also, the weightage will be fully on your TS EAMCET performance.
