The GATE 2026 entrance will be conducted through online mode. This is an online Computer Based Test (CBT) exam.
The total duration of the GATE 2026 exam will be 3 Hours (180 minutes). For PWD candidates, 1 hour of compensatory time will be provided.
The GATE Exam Pattern for Textile Engineering will include 3 types of questions such as multiple choice questions (MCQ), multiple select questions (MSQ), and numerical answer types. GATE 2026 Textile Engineering Question Paper Pattern
As per the official GATE Exam Pattern for Textile Engineering, candidates are required to answer all questions. The exam paper will include 3 types of questions MCQ, MSQ, and NAT:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): All MCQ questions will be mandatory to answer. Each question carries 1 or 2 marks, and the candidate has to select the one correct option out of four options.
Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): All MSQ questions will be mandatory to answer. Each question carries 1 or 2 marks, and the candidate can select more than one correct option out of four options.
