Unfortunately, in JEE Mains, if you changed your answer in the last moment and didn't save it before submitting the paper, your original answer will be considered for evaluation . Here's why:
While 90% is a good score, it translates to roughly 74,257 rank (general) and 20,000-25,000 rank (OBC) based on previous year trends. For NIT admissions, you'd ideally need closer to 95%+ percentile or a much higher OBC rank for better chances.

It is possible to take maths if board registration for 12th has not taken place. Contact your school and ask them. If the registration has been done, it may be difficult to change subject. But you can reach out to cbse regional office and discuss your query.
