Hello,
To give JEE advanced you have to clear the cutoff of JEE mains first after that you will get eligible to sit for JEE advanced.
If you want to secure a rank under 3500 then your positive score must be somewhere around 160 to 170 also you have to clear the cutoff of each subject in JEE advanced exam.
Hope it helps thank you.

Hello Aspirant,
See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.
But o n such percentile, if you belongs to General category then you have very less chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

No, Indian Institute of Technologies conduct two papers to fill their seats for their flagship undergraduate programmes. The two examination are:
JEE Advanced Paper 1: This is for admission into the 4 year Bachelor of Technology course in all the 23 IITs.
JEE Advanced Paper 2: This is for admission into the B.Arch programme in some of the IITs like Roorkee, Kharagpur etc.
The papers are not same and you can give B.Arch paper only if you qualify the Paper 1. So, all the best for the same!
Hello aspirant,
Your overall predicted Rank in JEE mains with the above mentioned percentile score will be around 286440 - 322000. Now, Looking at the previous year Cutoff for JEE mains, you have less chances of getting good Colleges (NIT's/GFTI's/IIIT's) through JEE mains. However, you can still qualify for JEE advance examination. The expected cutoff percentile score in JEE mains for SC Category is around 60.
To know more about the JEE mains Cutoff, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
To know about your chances of admissions in other colleges, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
I hope that this will help.
As per NTA , applicants can appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years from passing class 12th. Suppose you pass class 12th in 2022, then you can appear for JEE Main in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Where as you have Two attempts in JEE advanced candidates can thus attempt JEE Advanced is two times in two consecutive years.
Hope this helps!!
