Joint Entrance Exam Advanced
Hey,
Cut off for every branch is different and it depends on number of factors such as:
For IIT Hyderabad you should atleast score 170 - 175 to get any branch and to be on the safer side and minimum percentage of marks for each subject should be 2.50% ( for SC candidates)
For Artificial intelligence and Computer Engineering your rank should lie between 500 - 600 which means approximately 250 - 215 marks.

Hey Aspirant,
As you got 89 percentile in section-1 of JEE Mains 2022. To get admission in top NITs with most considered branches candidates needs to have minimum 94 percentile in JEE mains. No, it is not mandatory for attending JEE advanced exam for applying NIT colleges admission. You only have to give JEE mains exam and score a good percentile in it to get a good NIT. Hi
Assuming you from general category
It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
******kind of marks obtained by them ,
******toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced is given below :-
--------) general :-87.8992241 percentil e
--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile
--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile
--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

You can select the appearing option for the JEE Advance registration form. When you will select the appearing option they will ask for the marks of your PCM subjects and you can fill the marks you got in the exam you appeared for 2022. If you will give the JEE advance in the 2023 year then you can submit the marks of your improved subjects.
first of all, I would suggest you focus on your curriculum first. brush up your concepts from the starting. you will enter a new stage in class 9 so focus on every topic of mathematics and physics. you can join various institutes that offer the preparation for competitive exams in class 9 and continue further. you will get ample time to prepare for the exam, you can focus on your curriculum on weekdays and jee preparation on the weekends. When you have enough time for preparation, you can revise and practice regularly. you will gain a lot of knowledge.
so all the very best !!!!!!. I wish you clear jee with rank 1.
study hard.
As per the category mentioned by you, If your percentile is between 87 percentile to 90 percentile then you're eligible for jee adv 2022. But the cutoff varies every year so students are advised to wait till the official cutoff is released by NTA. Use the Career360 percentile predictor to know your expected percentile.

Hello Aspirant,
See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2022 the final result will be released after both the attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst both attempts.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
So to be on the safer side of qualifying you should secure at least 50 percentile being a SC candidate.
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
I hope this information helps you.
