my jee main percentile 85.69 Am I eligible for jee advance

pranjalg462 14th Jul, 2022

Candidates with 85 percentile in JEE Main will have a situation around 1.3 lakh. As the top 2.5 lakh students appear for JEE Advanced. You have a nice possibility of appearing for the test. Understudies from 98.5 percentile to 99.5 percentile might consider showing up for Session 2 and further developing their percentile score. Concerning the individuals who have scored under the 98.5 percentile, they are encouraged to show up for the July meeting and increment groundwork for JEE Advanced 2022.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2022

Hi

Assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,

******kind of marks obtained by them ,

******toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

i got 77 percentile in jee main 2022 june attempt and i am obc category student can i give jee advance 2022?

Pro Gaming 14th Jul, 2022

Hello,

As per the previous year's cutoff of OBC NCL for jee advanced you're eligible to give jee advanced 2022. But this percentile won't ensure you any good college. Better to improve in your score in further attempts upto 95%tile to get a good college. Also, visit this site to know more about jee the main cutoff.

i score 62 marks in mains,so i have to write compulsory jee advance or not?

Aditi Singh 14th Jul, 2022
Hello student.
So your score in Jee mains is 62 and that complies that your percentile might be ~84.5 - 85. As this is just the predicted percentile and it may vary with your scorecard actual score.
Cutoff for JEE ADVANCED 2022 is expected to be around ~87-89 for general category. If your caregory is other than general, then you can give JEE ADVANCED 2022 and your question is whether it is compulsary to give JEE ADVANCED or not then it is not compulsary but if you have potential, you have prepared well for the exam, then you should give the exam to study in the best colleges in India (if you qualify the exam). Else you have more other options for engineering exams through which you can get into good colleges.

I have scored 45 percentage and in OBC NCL catagory and with having 70 percentile can i eligible to write jee advance?

Pro Gaming 14th Jul, 2022

Hello,

The cutoff for OBC NCL in 2021 was 68.0234447 but in 2020 it was 72.8887969 which means the cutoff varies every year. If your score is 45%tile this time then sorry you aren't eligible to sit for jee advanced.

Try to improve your score by at least 80%tile to get eligible for jee advanced and if you want a good college then improve your score upto 95+%tile. You can also visit this site to know the cutoff.

if 75% is not there in 10+2 but average rank like 50% in jee advance these students are eligible for b.tech in IIST Trivandrum

Jini bibi 23rd Aug, 2022

That would be challenging because applicants for the B.Tech programme at IIST must have completed senior secondary school with an average MINIMUM of 75% marks from a recognised board and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a language, and a different fifth topic.

The candidates selected in the course are based on the both 10+2 merits and JEE Advanced scores.

Am I eligible for jee advanced? I scored 52 percentile I belong to SC category

Titiksha Patel 13th Jul, 2022

Hello there,

For now, the cut offs for JEE Mains and JEE advanced haven’t been announced but the expected cut off is to be 55-60% for SC category.

Though last year( 2021), the cut off was not really high and for Sc category it was around 46.88

Keep your hopes high. You are going to make it. Wishing you the best.
