Joint Entrance Exam Advanced
Yes as according to the rules of the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced, you have to compulsorily attempt both the papers in both the shifts to make yourself eligible for the results and the counselling process. If you don't appear for the second paper and leave after the first, your result will not be published and you'll be marked absent as a result of which you'll not be able to sit for counselling or get admission to colleges on the basis of your JEE Advanced marks.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Unfortunately that is not possible. According to the rules of the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced, a candidate can give or attempt the examination only two times in lifetime, and as a result you won't be eligible to attempt the exam even if you do your class XIIth all over again.

Hi,
Yes, you can sit for JEE Advanced after a double drop, provided you have cleared your JEE Mains and qualified for Advanced.
As per eligibility criteria, each candidate is allowed to sit for JEE Advanced for maximum two times in two consecutive years after they have passed their 12th boards. For example, if you have given your 12th in the year 2021, you will be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced in 2021 and 2022.
Since you didn’t appear for your first JEE Advanced attempt, technically, the one you are going to sit for will be your final attempt.

Hello,
Firstly, as per the revised JEE Main eligibility criteria 2022, 75% of criteria is removed. For NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs Admission, Candidates just need to pass class 12 irrespective of percentage.
Firstly you need to clear JEE Mains cutoff so that you are eligible for JEE Advanced and then your college will be decided on the basis of JEE Advanced rank ( in case of IITs).
For NITs, IIITs and GFTIs your JEE Mains rank will be considered.
Hope this information helps you.
The P after your rank indicates that the seat you have been allotted is not an ordinary seat but is a Preparatory seat. preparatory seat means that you have been given the admission into IITs on a provisional basis, and in the following next year you'll be trained by some IIT to be suitable for the B.Tech courses offered by them, depending on the fact that how good you do in the preparatory batch.
