Dear Sethu,

IISER i.e,  Indian Institution Of Science and Research, admits student by three channels and these are:

1. Kishore vaigyanik prosthan yojana (KVPY)

2. IIT-JEE (advance) and

3. Date and central board (SCB).

So, yes you can apply for IISER through SCB and JEE.

Competitors who have finished 10+2 or equal level test with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are qualified to apply for admission. Applicants will be admitted to IISER just through after three channels.

Aptitude test of IISER admission via SCB channel ,actually this test includes of four subjects they are biology,chemistry,physics and mathematics with equal weightage.To apply via scb, a candidate should cross the eligibility criteria ,i can provide you the sample papers of this test  and for more details

Hi,

The combined total number of seats available all IISERs for BS-MS degree programme is 1481. A maximum of 50% seat will are located through KVPY and JEE advanced channels.The other 50 percentage seat is filled through SCB channel that is based on the rank of IISER  aptitude test

Hi Pranav

You can write the IISER Aptitude Test only twice and that too in consecutive years. You can give it only in the year you passed your 12th board exams (1st attempt) and the year just after your 12th exams (2nd attempt). Hence you cannot write the test after

The IISER admissions 2020 will be conducted in three channels: JEE, KVPY and SCB. You can apply for admission through any of the three options, but you need to fulfil the IISER Aptitude Test 2020 eligibility criteria for each channel individually.

The eligibility criteria of IISER 2020 varies according to the different channels of admission. It must be noted that fulfilling the eligibility criteria before applying is mandatory.

For KVPY: Candidates are required to have a KVPY fellowship commencing from the academic session 2020-2021.
