Firstly, the test is conducted offline and test comprises of 4 sections - Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics respectively. And the type of questions asked are of multiple choice questions(MCQ's). And there is negative marking scheme too for every correct answer you will be rewarded with 3 marks and for every incorrect answer your score will be deducted by -1. And the total count of the questions are 60 and these questions are divided into 4 sections respectively and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Actually you have to pass the 10+2 exam before sitting for the exam of IISER as they mentioned in their eligibility criteria but if you are going to give 10+2 in 2020 you are still eligible to sit for the exam.

The IISER aptitude test 2020 ,will be held on May 31, 2020 . It is a computer based test (CBT), it is of 3-hour and it is a multiple choice paper having 60 questions . Application form filling starts from 23rd March 2020 while the last date of submission of application form is 30th April.
