No, Inter students are not eligible for the GATE exam. To be eligible for GATE a candidate must be in the Third year of graduation or a final year or should have passed graduation. Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject. Only these candidates are eligible for GATE not the inter students.
