Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Hello Tiasha,
Yes, you are eligible if you are in final year of graduation or graduated to give GATE Physics exam.
You are only qualified to take the GATE exam if
-You are now taking your qualifying examination, which in your case is the M.Sc.
-Your degree is already complete.
Thank You
It is totally up to you that for which subject you have to give GATE, and you can change this every year. So, if this year or in 2023 you opt for Computer Science and Engineering, and you do not get satisfactory results, then in the next year of 2024, you can definitely attempt the GATE in Biomedical Engineering paper without any restrictions.
So essentially you can give gate in Biomedical Engineering in 2024. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
hai dear!

First of all, you will have to know what is coming in the exam for that you have to focus on the syllabus. Clearing concepts, making questions of it, and having accuracy with speed matter a lot more than the average guy who is preparing for Gate. Stick to your plan with regularity that this task you have to complete with a clear concept. A cool-minded person always gets success. Between your preparation schedule, sometimes take the test so that you could analyze whether my hard and smart work bears fruit or not. Practice digital test papers on your Pc, laptop, or phone so that you could get the same environment at the time of the exam and could succeed with flying colours.
dear student,
you can get admission into varies colleges for mtech, ME, MS, PHD
also many PSUs use gate score for recruiting candidates for good jobs as well.
so its according to you if you want to continue studies you can choose the first option and if you want to start doing job go with the second.
See GATE is a national level examination and the score is accepted by most of the top colleges. So if you wish to get into IIT's/NIT's and other top institutes then going for the GATE can be a great choice. Apart from them, most of the other college also requires GATE score. Now there are some colleges which offers the admission to the course of MTech without GATE, the name of those institutes are provided below:
For more information regarding the MTech as a career consider the link below:

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!
Dear aspirant!
Hope you are doing well ! If you are going to take a drop after 12th then it is not a big deal at all . I would suggest to go for it . But you should not take 2nd drop ,you can take drop ,many topper do this thing , don't feel anything wrong in taking this decision . Beleive me , if you are reading this and you have confirmed that you will work hard and definitely crack the exam next year then go for it and start preparing ,don't repeat the same mistake which you did this year . Try to finish the syllabus early so that you can get time for revision , revision is something that i realised plays an important role . Prefer good books and a good teacher . Be serious and work very hard.
Hope it helps you !
Thanks for asking query!!
Hey Aspirant,
There is no separate entrance test for admission into IIST. You can get into the institute based on your JEE Advanced rank only.
Hope this is useful.
Dear Student ,
To get admission in IIT Bombay in Mechanical domain , you need to get min 592 marks out of 1000 in GATE exam as per last year cut off data base .
But , remember ,, the above cut off can differ each year for some important reasons like Seat matrix , difficulty level of exam , no of students appeared for the exam etc.
Check previous year GATE cut off details from here :

Hello Rahul,
It is very difficult to get into a government college at this rank. However, you have the option of going to a private college. You can look for some private colleges like LPU, CU, KIIT, MIT, CMRIT, etc. You can also get admission through the management quota. You can contact the college directly or you can go through counsellors. Management quota is accepted by almost all private engineering colleges.
Top Colleges Accepting Management Quota:
However, in my opinion, you should take a drop and prepare for next year. Stay consistent and work hard for one year and get into your dream colleges. That will be the best option for you.
