In Punjab.. Is 2nd round counlg criteria same as other states. If we dont get upgraded college.. Do we have to retain first college

Yoshita 6th Jul, 2018

Hello

It's usually the same in all the universities that if the upgraded college isn't taken then the first one is retained.

There might be chance that itsi not the same in the college you are talking about(no name is mentioned here) so it's better to ask the university people about the same.

Thank you

If you are referring to choice filling for admission , you should select from best to average , with best at top. Same applies for branch selection.for more info feel free to comment.

How do we compare 2016 and 2017 cut off ranks for same institute ? e.g. the CRL Gen Suratkal Mech was 5158 while for 2017 was 8292. explain

raaja jahnavi 13th Jun, 2018

hi ,

thankyou for approaching us. one cannot predict the changes in variation in cutoff for any institute. to change the cutoff the decision is entirely taking by the institute depending on the ranking of the college in that year , increase in placements , increase in the college's standards etc.

but if you want to chekout or analyze the cutoff's of an institute for the years 2016 and 2017, then you can use the careers360 college predictors. it will give you the predicted college in which you might get a seat based on your rank , the cutoff of 2017 , and the cutoff of 2016 for the same branche in the same institute.

hope the information was helpfull

all the best:)
