If you have not received your admit card online, below are a few things that you can do.

Contact Your School: Your school will have a copy of your admit card. Contact the school administration and inquire about it. They should be able to provide it physically or help you download it.

Check the Exam Board’s Website: Visit the official website of exam board which is conducting your exam (like CBSE, ICSE or your State Board). Check for any updates or notifications about admit card issuance on that site. Some boards may have procedure to issue duplicate admit cards.

Contact the Exam Centre: Contact the exam centre where you are supposed to appear for the exam. They will guide you how to get your admit card.

Do:

Act Quickly – Don’t leave this until the last minute to get sorted.

Carry all the documents you needed: If you didn’t get your admit card with you, at least carry the ID proof (AADHAR card/school ID) or any other document that was mentioned in the notification.

Keep calm: Panicking is not the solution. Just be cool and start looking out for ways how can this be rectified.

This way you will get your admit card at the time of exam.

Hello

For your JEE Main form , it’s generally best to ensure all information matches your official documents , since discrepancies could cause issues during document verification . If your marksheet currently shows correct passing year , you might consider using that date temporarily to match , especially if it’s your only official documentation for now .

your JEE 2025 application , use 2024 as your year of passing and clarify your situation if needed . This should help ensure a smoother application process.

Thank you

Hello Saniya,

As an SC female candidate from Haryana aiming for admission to NIT Kurukshetra, your JEE Main rank is crucial. Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for SC female candidates in various branches were approximately:

  • Computer Science and Engineering : Around 12,000
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering : Approximately 15,000
  • Mechanical Engineering : Close to 20,000

These ranks can fluctuate annually due to factors like exam difficulty and applicant numbers. To estimate the required marks, consider that a JEE Main score of about 150-180 often corresponds to a rank within 10,000-20,000. However, this is a general estimate, and actual requirements may vary.

For the most accurate and current information, refer to the official JoSAA counseling data and NIT Kurukshetra's admission updates.

Hello Tanvi,

If your family's annual income is above Rs. 8 lakhs, you should indicate that you belong to the general (non-EWS) category in the JEE application. While your Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) OBC certificate may grant reservation benefits in certain contexts, for JEE purposes, the income ceiling for OBC-NCL eligibility is below Rs. 8 lakhs.

Even if you have an NCL certificate, it applies only if the annual income remains within the prescribed limit (below Rs. 8 lakhs) to benefit from the OBC-NCL reservation in JEE.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello there,

In your JEE Mains 2025 application form, you should fill your passing year as 2023 , the year you initially passed the 12th grade. For marks, you can enter the improved marks from 2024, as JEE allows you to use the best result if you’ve appeared for an improvement exam.

Here’s how to approach it:

  1. Passing Year : Select 2023 as your official passing year, as this was your first attempt.

  2. Marks : Enter the improved marks (75.6%) obtained in 2024.

  3. Roll Number : Use the roll number for the improvement exam (2024), as it corresponds with the updated marks you’re reporting.

This way, you present the higher marks for eligibility without any issues related to having two roll numbers or different mark sheets.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello,

For the JEE Mains application, the OBC certificate is essential if you plan to claim a reservation under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. Here are key points:

  1. OBC Category Importance : Since you belong to the BC-D category, which falls under OBC in some states, submitting an OBC certificate can qualify you for reservation benefits if recognized by central standards.

  2. Validity of Certificate : The certificate must be recent, typically issued within a year, and compliant with central OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) standards.

  3. Application Requirements : If you do not submit the OBC certificate, your application will be processed under the General category, making you ineligible for OBC-specific reservation.

  4. Deadline for Certificate : If your certificate isn't ready at application time, you may be allowed to submit it by a later deadline (check the latest JEE guidelines).

  5. Verification : Ensure that the certificate is from a competent authority and fulfills JEE eligibility standards.
